This is the 2nd time they've mismanaged immigration related paperwork in as many weeks. 

 

Right before my interview they 'lost' my fiance's 2018 tax return and W2's for the affidavit of support.

He ended up having to get new copies of his W2's from HR at his work, then scan and email them to me the night before my interview. 

This is scary, I am from Winnipeg but it is still Canada Post that we have to rely on. I just got approved two days ago and will be expecting to receive my passport next week.. Hopefully!!

I read in some forums that there is a photo studio at/near the Consulate just in case the CO didn't  accept the photo

Yes he is from Canada, Canadian citizen from India, his CC is mid July 2018and his pd is Oct 2016. Did you try to call NVC? is your Pd current?

@Akanksha Hi, may I know your docs qualified date? Some people in other threads and chat groups with Nov 2016 pd got their schedule. Their DQ dates are from July and Aug. thanks 

So I just called the NVC because my friend with pd of Oct 2016 and docs qualified in July 2018 got a schedule. This is what I was told. The PD doesnt count once you got docs qualified because they will check who has the earilest docs qualified date. I am docs qualified in Oct 2018 and my Pd is JUNE 2016...

Hello Guys, newbie here, my pd is June 2016 and i got docs qualified on Oct 2018. I will have my interview in Montreal. I know that it is a waiting game for people in Canada but from the other posts here, some already had their interviews in Montreal. Just wondering if anyone can tell me what to do other than wait :):). Thank you.

My Cc is Oct 17, I guess there are lots of us who they CC’d after the 15th of Oct and they stopped scheduling people in January after that date.
