He is waiting for the call to pick up his passport. We did not receive any email or call yet. Only status changed is how i can tell. On AEG passport tracking website there is no update for his passport number either.

guys, when you get your visa issued, i know CEAC status changes but do they also email you? or you have to constantly keep checking CEAC?

once you get your Visa "issued" in the CEAC, do they email you or do you have to keep checking the website?

My wife's case in CEAC is currently under Administrative Processing for missing Urdu/English Nikanama's (I sent via courier/uploaded on CEAC), they should've received it today, "Case Last Updated:" updates almost daily, do they really check it or is that automated? And any estimates on how long does it usually take them to issue Visa (they kept her passport) after that?🤔

Hi Question, my wife has same situation, they are asking for Nikanama (we only have English original we never had urdu one, hopefully that won't be an issue), how long does the courier usually take to send to Embassy in Islamabad, our courier is in Peshawar, and do they give tracking?

 So is this a good sign? My wife took her interview in Islamabad, everything else was good however, they said we need to upload Nikanama, they kept her Passport+Birth Certificate+Wedding Certificate, and gave her a white paper that on top says '...Your visa has been refused under the provision of the Immigration and Nationality Act." and has Section 221(g), and on the bottom it says to upload Nikanama, is this a good sign? I uploaded the document within a few hours of the interview, how long do you guys think it will take? (checked online it says under Administrative Processing) And are they going to send the original documents back along with the passport?

Do they allow mobiles in the Islamabad embassy? If not, are there lockers/safe storage etc. for storing personal belongings? 

How long did you guys get the visa/passport after interview approved? 

Question regarding Visa receive time after interview. I know the official version of time to receive Visa from interview is 2 weeks but according to my average of all applicants from Pakistan Islamabad Embassy in Visa Journey, it takes 2-4 days, does this seem somewhat accurate?

That is perfect! Just make sure the PDF you save is easily readable and font is not too small in passport, other than that, that looks good+acceptable!

So I uploaded my doc on 13-Sept-18 and on 19-Sept-18 all doc accepted expect my passport scan copy as I uploaded in landscape instead of Portrait. So I uploaded in Portrait and resubmitted again. I am confused as today I ask my wife to call NVC to check why it's taking so long. So the NVC guy checked and said its again in landscape and will get the rejection. If i check on my computer it's in Portrait as well on CEAC and on my Phone plus on my wife phone. But if my wife and NVC agent check on the computer(CEAC) its show in Landscape. If you have scanner in home, the scanner should have scan to PDF option button (touchscreen?), if not 100% there is software for scanner (epson, canon, etc). Do NOT crop. Scan as letter/A4. PDF is better option like you said. Once you scan it, open PDF in computer/check in phone too before uploading it. Also when you scan your passport, make sure it is vertical (meanin biographic page should be bottom and other page on top) NOT horizontal. Easy rule is, if NVC agent has to tilt or rotate his/her head to read your document/passport, they will reject. 

What is the average time after interview approval and passport pickup? I did an average based on VJ Pakistan member's interview/visa received, it seems to be 3-4 days after interview, is that correct? I know they say 2 weeks but what is the average Visa receive time? 

@VickeySis I just called Aziz Medical Center, they said no special shuttle, you can take any car/transport there.

The email I received a confirmation email (sept 15) from them didn't state anything about shuttle. I booked my appointment online. Based on the location of the area, my guess is no shuttle is required. For embassy interview I can understand it is in an enclave/secure area so they won't allow outside cars, however with medical, according to Google Maps, that area looks open, anyone can walk in. I am going to call them tonight (PK morning) and will ask them that question and will post it here. 

Question regarding Medical at Aziz Medical Center (Islamabad), since they do Blood test, is Fasting required day before or morning or no?

Hi, two questions, how many 2x2 photos are needed for the Medical (at Aziz Medical Center, Islamabad and how many ) and how many 2x2 photos needed for interview? What are the fees at the embassy (I payed everything originally via NVC website when submiting IV/AOS packages) are there any other fees at the embassy, also how much is the green card fee? 👦 Thanks!

Once you submit all documents to NVC it'll change to "Case Complete". After completion NVC look for interview appointment in your Local counslate. Once it scheduled and your all documents will be send to this counslate, next day your case status will change to "In Transit" then "Ready" for interview. 

Thanks, my NVC case is complete but it Says "Accepted" under both AOS and Civil Documents, so those will change to "In Transit" correct?

Guys, curious where does it say "In Transit" once NVC sends the case to the embassy, I know it's on CEAC, is it at top right where it says 'Your Case is Currently at: NVC" does that change or on bottom, where? Thanks!

Interview letter would have been emailed from NVC.   The same letter you take to your medical you take to you interview.  You'll need when you go to purchase the token for the shuttle.  

 

And yes you print the letter (attachment) from the email you received.
