Me and my spouse are going through the process of adjustment of status through marriage. We had the petitioners mother fill out an affidavit of support and also write a notarized letter of her approval of our marriage. She sent the form and letter to us on May 21, but it has taken us until now (4 months later) to save up enough money to send in all of the forms. Is this a problem? Can the form and notarized letter expire? Should we have her renew them and send new ones?
We're planning on sending everything this month so any help on this topic is greatly appreciated, thanks!
