Quick question - filling out an AR-11 for my pending I-485 AOS from K1 (moved to a new place).

What does I put in the "In the US as a"?

Options are: 

Permanent Resident

Other 

Visitor 

Student

Would have to think it's "other" but does anyone know what they specified it as? My I-765 and I-131 have come through, it's just the I-485 processing.

Long Island as well! PD is October 8th - still haven't received any new status since Fingerprint Fees were received.... did my biometrics back in October as well. Hoping to at least get scheduled for an interview soon (just to see some kind of movement)!

Hi everyone!  Been watching this thread for a while as it's such a wealth of information. I submitted all my stuff and my EAD was received October 2nd - I'm now on day 92 of waiting, and obviously like everyone else going crazy.

At this point - the "processing time" is still 4-6 months. Is it worth raising a service request or going through a congressman to try get it looked at? Or should I wait until the 4 month period?

It's so confusing trying to figure out the best way to go!

I'm a little confused on form I-485, Part 2, Section 3, and 4.

They ask: 

If you are the principal applicant, provide the following information:

3. Receipt Number of underlying petition.

4. Priority Date of underlying petition.

Am I to assume under point 3, we right the WAC receipt number received on the I-797 after submitting the I-129F? And if so, where do I find the priority date of the K1? It's already been accepted and I've entered the country under this visa.

Very simple question here - when submitting the AOS for K1 - I have the completed DS-3025 with me, do I include the original or a photocopy in my AOS packet? It doesn't get specifics, so I'm assuming a photocopy would suffice unless stated otherwise?

If you do it - is it best to note it on your AOS forms? (I485), or does it just make sense to leave it in the background.

This is probably a stupid question - do we need to submit criminal checks for AOS like we did previously for K1 interview?

From what I can see - it suggests on the instructions that if we don't have any criminal convictions / charges, you don't need to provide certificates.

Could someone confirm that?

Quick question ahead of my Montreal K1 interview this week - I have the original I-134 form and all of the supporting evidence required. Do I need to bring a photo copy of all of this, or does the originals / supporting evidence suffice?

Would like to avoid having to bring a lot of extra paper unnecessarily!

Filling out form I-765 - I was previously in the US on a F1 student visa, and received an OPT EAD for one year post graduation. That expired and I left the country. I am now applying for AOS from the K1 - would this mean I'm applying for an "initial permission to seek employment" or am i "renewal of permission"

I would assume it's initial permission as it's on the K1 visa, not the F1 - and I just need to note that I've submitted a I-765 form before and provide a copy of my old expired EAD?

As in I need to submit the vaccination part of the I-693 (and have it checked by the surgeon general) - or just submit the vaccine page from the original medical

Afternoon all!

Quick question, just preparing my AOS packet to submit (not there yet - just pre-preparing everything). In regards to medical - I completed mine in Canada for my K1 and have the necessary vaccinations. When submitted the AOS packet - do I need to submit I-693 or can I just submit the completed vaccination checklist from my medical and this will suffice?

The USCIS website is not clear.
