  1. holy shyt thats fast

Guess I answered my own question.

    southernchic

"I just got off the phone with my husband and have some AMAZINGLY good news He just called the Embassy and found out that petitioners applying for their K visas they don't submit their papers and wait for an appointment date. Their paperwork is reviewed the same day..............."

    Way to go Addis.

That means my process will be a total of about 3 months.???

  2. Maybe I am missing something but after my stuff got to Addis Ababa, my fiance got a letter and packet a few days later.

I actually has the interview date on it as June 6th. That would mean everything was about 3 months???

What am i missing? Will she get 2 dates or something? Its the first date just to drop off the info and then she will get another date for the actual interview?

  3. As I fill out the G-325A I am baffled at how.... or why they would leave so little room to write the answers. I have seen people who can write very small but this seems less about getting information and more about testing ones ability to squeeze names dates cities and countries in places big enough for only one of them.

I guess I could write all this stuff on an attachment sheet of paper but It would make a lot more sense to design a form big enough.

Ever notice when the Govt "wants to" it has no problem giving you ample room to fill in the blanks such as the IRS forms or and Arrest data sheet. (so I have been told :) :)

    :innocent:

Pull up the form via the web in PDF form and fill them out online.

You cannot save it if you only have Adobe Acrobat reader. (Just fill out online and print)

If you wanted to save it you could download FoxIt Reader *

Or go to the store and but a copy of adobe acrobat.

    Good luck

*FoxIt Reader will leave a watermark, there are ways of removing that watermark using "programs" that you can search for via the web.

  4. well since i live here in New York, pretty much there are many many phone cards that give you about 1 hr caling time to the dominican republic, and they are only 2 dollars, Now i have over 100 of these aved, and since i was reading the guides i saw that it stated that it wil be good to show calling receipts or etc, but i used these ards because they are affordable and convenient, should i do something, send them, copy it send or what.... thanks

Your lucky. I used those cards to call to Ethiopia. It cost me a lot more, 5.oo for 20 Minutes. So anyway after racking up about 400.oo in those cards (I saved them all) Cablevision came out with a VOIP service that was 500 minutes to anyplace in the world for 20.oo. I have a combination of those call reciepts as well as the stack of "Africa Dream" calling cards. If you still have to cards i would suggest to send her the used ones. It will only help when she shows proof.

  5. I guess this is just a rant but i sent my stuff in at the end of january. I was going to send in the old form since the web said it was good till 2.18.07 or whatever. BUT i went ahead and downloaded the NEW 129-F right when it came out and sent it instead. I am now visiting my fiance in her country for a 6 weeks and someone is checking my mail. They have sent the entire packacge back after a week claiming i had the old form. And even then, the old form was supposed to still be good untill the 18th or so. I think i got the package back on the 5th of feb.. Should i not be suprised with errors such as these? Does anyone else have similar stories? I made sure to triple check everything and even had my house sitter go through the forms and verify that ALL the forms were up to date after i got them back. #######, now i wont be back home for another month and dont want to risk someone sending them. BTW that was the Vermont Center.

    Good luck people.

I am on a dialup, sorry if there is a specific forum for rants, i couldnt find it,.

  6. After dinking around on the internet i have finally found this site that has everything in black and white for the Fiance Visa process. (Thank You)

I do have one issue that i have not seen in the posts. My fiance is living in Ethiopia and like many 3rd world countries some places dont have a Home address where they can receive mail. She has a P.O. Box where mails is picked up but in no way is it tied to the actual home address of "Lideta 03 Zone 22 Home 485" (which really is useless as you cannot send mail to) Where on forms I-129F / G-325A should i differentiate between those two address or should i just add the info to the supplemental? And if so which address should i use if i have to pick one?

    Thanks ahead..
