  1. Thanks
lavij89 got a reaction from Reqahmed in Interview in Dhaka embassy
The interview date was received exactly 8 weeks after NVC notified us that the case is being transferred to the US Embassy in Dhaka.

The Interview letter was emailed to me on July 10th (one month before) for an interview on Aug 9th.

My Interview experience at US Dhaka Embassy:
My interview was at 8.15 AM. I reached US embassy Dhaka at 7.30 AM. I saw the line was already long (I guess there was around 20-25 people in queue). At the main gate, G4S security guards took my Interview letter to cross check my interview apointment time and date, checked my passport and bag. DON'T keep any mobile with you, they would NOT allow you to enter US embassy with mobile phone. If you have water bottle, they will ask you to drink water from that bottle for test purpose.
Then before entering into main building, an security personnel checked the interview letter and passport again. In the entrance of main building, an women security guard put my all papers and bag through X-Ray scanner, she asked me to go through a metal detector door. Though the metal detector did not sound any alarm, another security guard searched me again with handheld metal detector. The guards asked me to enter into a passage way. In the passage way one guy took my interview letter, gave me an yellow paper (this paper contains instruction of creating account in travel docs for passport collection with visa. US embassy already sent this form in soft copy through email before) and told me to go into the interview room.
I went to the interview room and found there is no room to seat, one female guard told me to seat outside near speaker.
So I was waiting outside, at around 9 AM one female IO asked me to come to window no. 4, so I went there. there she returned my marriage certificates, photos which my wife submitted at USCIS, and asked me to provide original birth certificate. I told her, my wife already sent my original birth certificate to NVC, but nvc must have misplaced my original birth certificate so I brought a new birth certificate from union porishod. Then she waited for a moment and from all my paper pulled a paper and asked me whether this is my original birth certificate. I told her, Yes. she said, my original birth certificate's text has faded away, thats why NVC though this is photocopy not original. She said, you don't need to give your new birth certificate, I will use this one your wife sent previously. She also took my finger print (All 10 fingers, a. Left 4 fingers without thumb, b. Right 4 fingers without thumb, c. Both thumb together) and told me to wait for another call.
At around 12.00PM another lady IO called me to come to room no. 11. Where she asked me too read an oath and give finger print. Then she told me to wait again, my interview will happen within short period of time.
[i don't know why they called me so late, I saw some people having interview time 10.00AM, gave final interview and went home even before 12 PM.]
At around 12.30PM, another lady IO called me at window no. 8 for final interview. She was nice and was talking in Bangla. In fact I saw There was total 3 IO and they were all taking interview in Bangla. Both IO at window 9 and window 8 was taking final interview and both were polite and very friendly.
The lady IO asked me nicely following questions all in Bangla:
    1. Who applied for you.
    2. What is her name.
    3. How your wife went to USA
    4. What she do now.
    5. With whom she lives.
    6. Where in USA your wife lives.
    7. How you met your wife. (How marriage was settled, was it arrange marriage or love marriage)
    8. Can you show me your wedding photos.
Then she told me that: "You will be happy to know that your visa is approved, please create a profile in visa travel docs, we will mail you when your visa is ready". I told her that I already created my profile. She said "Great" and also told me give us 5 days for your visa delivery.
I thanked her and met "AshTaz", told him my visa is approved.
    Alhamdullillah.
During My stay I saw all got visa approved except 2 women. If anyone gets AP then the IO officer tells the applicant to goto window no. 10 for clearification what is further necessary to continute this visa process.
1 Women got AP due to absence of I864 joint sponsor. IO officer told her that your husbands income is not enough so you need Joint sponsor. Fill out I864 joint sponsor form and submit it to saimon senter as soon as possible. [i really feel bad for this women, If she really needed I864 joint sponsor, then why NVC did not notify her petitioner husband, now she has to wait 6-12 months, which is painful and heart breaking].
Another women got AP due to she forgot to bring original marriage/birth certificate (I'm not sure which one.)
