  1. Once you have been approved for your Greencard it will be conditional, you will have to file for removal of the conditions 90 days before the second anniversary of the date you were approved for your Greencard.... you can apply to become a Citizen 90 days before the 3rd anniversary of the date you were approved for your Greencard...

Have a read of the guides at the top for Removal of Conditions and also Citizenship....

Thank you for your reply. I was asking for someone who has been here for 3 years and said they were Permanent Residents with an F32 status. The F32 as far as I can figure is a family visa, so I guess either their aunt or uncle got them here. I just didn't know if there was anything further they needed to do. As far as I know all Conditions have been lifted. Again, thank you.

  2. First sorry for posting in this forum, but it seems to be the most used with people who might have answers. What comes after being a Permanent Resident, with a Green Card and having a job? Anything else need to be filed?, or just take an examination and oath for U.S. citizenship, and when is that required? Also, any examination information, type of exam, what type of questions? Thank you in advance, for any answers I may receive.

Now I know what an F32 status is, it's a family visa. Is there any other process, forms and fees that need to be files or paid, or just take am examination and oath for U.S. citizenship, and when is that required? Also, examination information, type of exam, types of questions will there be? Thank you in advance, for any answers I may receive.

  4. Oh, thank you so much! I read about someone who's application was denied because although they had two co-signers, their US fiance was claiming government benefits and had no intention of working. Although that certainly isn't our case, I was terrified that the fact he's still a student would have some kind of big detrimental effect.

    Whew!

From what I've read, I believe on the Manila embassy website, Manila does not allow co-sponsors or assets for a FIANCEE visa. If I'm wrong and someone knows the truth, please correct me.

  5. Ok, we got the packet 3 from US Embassy in Thailand and says I need to send affidavit for support with her packet. Not sure where I saw it, but saw where it said I had to send form to service center where application was approved. So where am I supposed to send it? Also wold like to know if anyone knows about how long it takes to get an interview date after packet form is sent in stating that you have everything ready. Is it advisable to send in form before it is all ready but have dates set for physical etc..?

U send it to ur fiancee, HERE No.4 at d bottom

  6. NYGirl are you getting screenshot images of you two talking during your webcam chats, (windows side by side) and saving screenshot images of length of times talked on the messenger window and/or log files? An updated letter of intent to marry and the latest screenshot images will be taken to the Embassy or sent back with packet 3, unless packet 3 is needed to be handed in, in person. Proof of an on going relationship is most important at the interview, and if allowed it's best to be there with your hunny bunny.

  7. well since i live here in New York, pretty much there are many many phone cards that give you about 1 hr caling time to the dominican republic, and they are only 2 dollars, Now i have over 100 of these aved, and since i was reading the guides i saw that it stated that it wil be good to show calling receipts or etc, but i used these ards because they are affordable and convenient, should i do something, send them, copy it send or what.... thanks

Your lucky. I used those cards to call to Ethiopia. It cost me a lot more, 5.oo for 20 Minutes. So anyway after racking up about 400.oo in those cards (I saved them all) Cablevision came out with a VOIP service that was 500 minutes to anyplace in the world for 20.oo. I have a combination of those call reciepts as well as the stack of "Africa Dream" calling cards. If you still have to cards i would suggest to send her the used ones. It will only help when she shows proof.

We use webcams and free voice over Yahoo messenger, webcams are about $12 in the Philippines, and you can get one here for under $25, and you can log voice sessions and take screenshot images of you two talking together, as well as screenshot images of your logged voice sessions ( length of times talked ) to print out. All for free, except high speed works best, I use Comcast and she uses DSL which is $10 a month in the PH. It works pretty darn good for being 9000 miles away or the other side of the planet. It shows we're together every single day, except our physical touches. I wouldn't chat or email anyone over the internet I couldn't see, it could be a 10 year old boy playing with you, or a scammer, or they could have a boyfriend/girlfriend in the same room, or walk in the room they're in. Of course write or type down/chat your wedding plans etc., I'm not sure if DHS, USCIS or NVC will accept voice recorded tapes, but you can save those too, if using Yahoo's paid voice service.

  8. According to the instructions that come with the I-134, tax returns are not required unless you are self employed. If you are self-employed then the instructions state: "Copy of the last income tax return filed."

The way I read the instructions is, you'll need the last 3 years of tax returns if you work for someone or a company, and only last years tax return if you're self-employed. I haven't found any instructions for other required evidence for self-employed, they may request. The I-134 form says see additional instructions for self-employed, but there are none, not that I've seen.

  9. Hello,

On the Affidavit of Support, it asks for savings accounts, are these really looked at or considered?

Is there a certain amount needed to have?

As long as you have the income to meet the requirements this will not be looked at closely and there is no minimum requirement.

What USC has a savings account unless they inherited money, or is over paid for what they do for a living, and are wise spenders. 80% of the American workforce doesn't honestly earn an income. Besides seeing what I saw where I use to work for 22 years before becoming self-employed, my website tracker proves it too, it's not lunch time when people at work, .edu, .gov, .com, nasa etc. are surfing the internet. That's one of the main reasons American companies left this country, that and their greed for cheap slave labor to boost their profits. Most middle class are in debt for the rest of their lives. A lot of Americans live above their means and their weekly pay checks go towards paying their standard bills, or from buying useless material things. Use all your assets on your Affidavit of Support form and be at the interview if you like, so you can stand by/support your woman. And, of course you do have to show up at work 40 hours a week and receive close to $15 an hour, or get a co-sponsor.

  10. I had some problems with adobe as well. I just put the last 2 digits of the year. Had no probs

WEll that should be the reason for a good RFE, I left the +

Im sure you are not the only one. Highly doubt they will nitpick about a +

Watch out for that pop up calendar on that form, it can change the date on you. Left click in the middle of the form 5 times fast and the calendar will disappear, then double check the date to make sure it's correct.
