I guess I would be more inclined to believe that if we had gotten an interview this month. Last month they ended up around Aug 20th. We have a CC of September 3 and got nothing this month. I don’t want to get my hopes up at this point. :(

I think maybe those were expedited or special cases - people in mid August and early September are still barely getting interviews. 

I called last week and my CC was actually the first few days of September and we  don’t have an appointment. Other forums also had people with early September still waiting for appointments....

Our CC was Sept 13 2018 - still haven’t heard anything

Once the case was complete at NVC, how long did it take for you to get your appointment in Ciudad Juarez?

I'm starting to lose hope that our appointment will be before the end of this year :(

Small update: we received the Police Certificate yesterday

To get the certificate we had to go to our local consulate here in the US where they prepared a packet with power of attorney and identification papers. Then my sister flew to Mexico to turn it in personally (didn't want to take any chances) with two witnesses and received it that same day. Now she's on the way back and we'll turn in the DS-260 as soon as she's here.

Thank you! (and also to everyone else who has been really nice with well-wishes!). I'll try to give as much information as I can as we continue forward with the process.

We have a similiar time line!  We got approved on June 12th now just waiting on our appointment! Did you work with a lawyer ? Have they given you a timeline of when you’ll receive your appointment? Hi - Yes we worked with a lawyer. We still have to do the DS-260 and the affidavit of support because we decided to wait until we had the approval. I think we'll hopefully get all that submitted within the next couple of weeks  but getting that police certificate has been a hassle and taken longer than we thought. 

Hi guys, I've been checking this thread religiously for the past 7 months and today I finally got good news and I knew I had to make an account to share with you.

I-601A Received Date: 12/8/17

I-601A Biometrics Done: 1/13/18

I-601A APPROVAL: 7/25/18 

I actually found out by email - I set up an account at the new USCIS website: https://myaccount.uscis.dhs.gov/ months ago but the case status always stayed the same whenever I would check. Friday morning (7/26) I received a notification email that action had been taken on my case. When I logged in, I saw the approval and freaked out. Today we received the I-797 approval notice in the mail (so fast!). 

I had been worried about not seeing any updates on my case, especially after so many people had been either approved or moved to the Nebraska Processing Center (ours stayed at the NBC in Missouri), so we submitted a Case Inquiry the first week of July. I don't know if that had any effect on my case.

I just want to say THANK YOU to all the posters here who answer questions and provide updates - you guys kept me sane throughout this whole ordeal. I wish all of you still waiting so much luck and I want you to know that I'm pulling for you guys to get your approvals quickly. I know the waiting is so painful and scary but please hang in there!!!!

PS FYI - This website (https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do) is still out of date and has my status saying that the fingerprint fee was received. So maybe don't take that website into account as much.
