Hi all! I am currently in the process for doing this AOS for my wife. We received an RIE today for the petitioners tax returns. I am a medical student and have not been working, and included a letter explaining my lack of income and school transcripts for evidence. My father is joint sponsoring and he makes well above the poverty level. We included all his tax returns and income letter from his employer.
my question is, what else could they be asking for? I found a W2 form for me that I didn’t previously submit, but it was only for about 300$. I was planning on submitting that as well as writing a more detailed letter.... thoughts? Thanks for the help!!

Any thoughts? I think I’m just gonna go ahead and ask for the form again.

Hi all! I am here to ask about filing the AOS without the I-797 (NOA2). Due to some moves and family circumstance, we are unable to locate the I-797. We basically have EVERYTHING else however, including the actual petition with the stamp that says "APPROVED" and her handwritten A#, letter correspondence, interview scheduling, NOA1, etc. I have read online many people have been able to do it, but the most recent post I have found on the topic is in 2016 and I am concerned if they are getting more strict with it given a certain event that happened in 2016. Here are some threads that I've looked at:
I have made an info pass appointment but I'm not sure if its necessary (plus it's about a 3 hr drive away). I would really appreciate any of your experiences!

Yes the thing is I already did do that! I sent a letter initially saying that I was a student and that my income was lower than the IRS threshold. That’s why I’m so confused!
