Agree! I also had the same situation, I filed the I-84 and my mother filed the I-864A as a household member.
Thank you!! I knew I filed the I-864, I just wasn’t sure if he did one as well or if he did the I-864A. I really appreciate it ☺️

Hi all,
My husband is currently adjusting, and I'm a student who does not meet the income requirements. As such, my father is going to be co-sponsoring. We are all in the same house (my husband and I are in the basement suite, and my parents along with my two younger brothers occupy the rest of the house). He is the only other person in the house with income. After reading a bunch of different forum posts and the like, I'm still slightly confused as to whether he would fill out I-864 or I-864A.
Thank you in advance
Received EAD & SSN shortly after submitting ITIN application?
in Tax & Finances During US Immigration

Hi all,
My husband and I filed his AOS application in August of 2018. We still didn't have his EAD by Tax time, so we submitted a W7 application for ITIN. Today, I got an email saying they have approved his EAD and it is being sent. Since he's receiving an SSN too, I know that this means the ITIN application will be rejected. Should we just wait for the IRS to reject the application, file a new tax return with his SSN once we receive it, or what?
Appreciate any advice
