btw the lady we spoke to at the infopass was very nice to us and tried to call one of her friends in CSC for more information.

she was also troubled by this story.

her friend at CSC never called her back i guess?

Yea the RFE was recieved and processed before it was transfered to CSC.

Ive talked to an immigration lawyer this morning and am on my way right now to talk to my local congressman.

lol.... nice to hear all your comments..

Thing that sucks is we have to postpone our planned trip the philippines for our "second wedding" with her family and my buddies from around the globe, in April.

Anyway.

Hi All,

So after our RFE in September last year for An affidavit of support which was sent with the origional application and lost. Biometrics a month later. Our case was sent to CSC on October 17th 2006.

We never recieved any letters or documentation from the CSC. The only notification we ever recieved was an email alert saying

on jan 22 an undeliverable document was filed. call the 1-800 # blah blah (they must have sent it too wrong address??)

So we call the number and they say they will resend the document.. Three weeks later we have recieved nothing.

So i schedule a INFOPASS (on valentines day) to see what was going on!

We were informed that our case was denied !! However no reason was given! and we have to wait an additional 30 days now to see if the document is resent.

What can we do now? Its already been 6 months since we sent the application?

Do we have to refile a new AOS and start over?

Its allready been more than 30 days so we were informed we cant appeal the decision. But we were never informed of the decision, and still havent recieved any reason for it!!

These people are useless!

My name and my wifes name or both on the inside of the mailbox... we live in a townhome and all the boxes are grouped together in once place. The town home manager actually did that for us about a week after we moved in (in june)

Yea we called the number right away!

They hopefully have it sorted now? It was touched againt he next day. Hopefully that means it was resent?

I just wonder what it could be. We already went through the request for evidence.

Anyway just cross my fingers and hope "whatever it is" gets here soon.

Just sick of waiting, and now this!

There are alot of other people going through other difficult situations with regards to there visa issues!

How can this be?

We check our mail everyday!

We have already recieved mail from CIS before it was transfered to CSC.

Bu we never recieved anything from CSC confirming the transfer!!!

I know they have it because its been touched several times.

How can they not have our correct address??

Marko_AZ, I have the exact same receipt date as you, only I was transferred to CSC a month before you. I have not been touched since the transfer, but according to a USCIS customer rep I spoke with it's apparently not too unusual to have them not update the online case status. However you should have received something in the mail telling you that they have now transferred your case. It looks very much like the receipt notice they sent you for AOS except it says it was transferred. If you didn't receive this I would call the 1-800 number and see why you never received it.

Very curious about the letter. I will call them to find out whats up. I did however work out the "touched" that i keep seeing in peoples timelines. Its the Last Updated colum in the online profile you can use to get emails sent to you.

So apparently mine was "touched" on Jan 15th 2007 yey! at least they are looking at it!!!

Its kinda exiting after not seeing any evidence of the case being looked at for so long!!

Im looking at peoples timelines and see that cases are being touched, touched again etc etc..

Our AOS was transfered to CSC in October 2006 and we never recieved any letters from CSC.

Nor has there been reference to it being touched when I check the status online.

Its been a long wait now, its 166 days. So we should be complete with the whole process by now.

Our reciept date is Aug 8th 2006.

Is this normal?

Well i does give me comfort knowing there are others going through the same waiting game. I dont know if i should laugh or cry?

This is my first post here and really wanted to thank everyone a BIG thanks for the wealth of info available in these forums.

For all those still waiting for there AOS. I am also waiting and have a reciept date of August 8th 2006. After getting the Request of evidence about a month later and then the Biometrics. Our case was transfered to the California Service Center on October 14th.

Since then we have heard nothing and seen no activity from CSC. Our case is still Pending??

The processing time for CSC which was updated yesterday went from Sept 14, 2006 to Sept 25, 2005 which doesnt make sense at all (for the I-485) and say's its for employment based AOS. There is no other I-485 which references K1 AOS applications.

We are concerned at this time and not sure what to do at this stage?

Anyway good luck for everyone else waiting.
