Who are you petitioning and what country are they in?
Diana
I'm in the u.k. My parents are american citizens and have been for a long time. They filled back in October 2003 to Nebraska. Then it was moved to Califirnia and they adjusted our receipt time to november 2004. I'm over 21 married with two children. I know that this takes a low position on priority but even so it is moving so slowly.

Well here I am again over a year on since I was last here and still no change on the I-130 front.
It has not budged from processing time '30th april 2001'.
what is going on?????
I have a lot of patients but this is getting silly.
does anyone have any good input or additional info on this subject. Would love to hear from you.

hi does any one know why the process times for the I-130 has been stuck on 30 april 2001 for married applicants over 21 for so long.

I will create a time line when I have something to put in a line.........
my time line is just about stated in my first post( I-130 how long...)
I don't have that much to report.

can any one say if this applies to U.k residents, I was posted it.
'You own or buy business as a national of a qualifying Treaty country. The business must have a minimum value of around $150k (the more, the better) bearing in mind you will need somewhere to live and with any startup business you will need at least 2 years living money as back up. So a figure of $350k would be a nearer minimum. Your dependent spouse may work. Non-immigrant visa Search for: E2'
what is a treaty country?

but this is a world of mass migration now, look at the U.k now over flowing.

i have to agree, the length of time on all these processes is ridiculous.
My post is about the I-130 which according to various sources is going to take a total of 10 years, but 22years is a joke, why is this system so slow for everyone.

hi we have had something similar happen, if you read my post "I-130 how long" posted by zedd i have recieved some pointers about time lines etc, hope this helps.

thanks for the info, very useful.

thanks for the link, i find that incredible. So most people have been waiting up to 10yrs to get into the states on an I-130!
Does any one know if you can apply through a different route or is this it?
-
so your telling me it will have taken nearly 10yrs by the time it comes through, even with parents who are citizens. is this correct?

does any one have an pointers at all. thanks

I wonder if anyone can shed some light.
I'm over 21, married and have 2 children(u.k nationals). My parents are now American Citizens and have applied for us to come over to the states via an I-130. They first applied November 2003, This went through the Nebraska office. Then the paper work was moved to california, where they put us back a year giving a receipt date of Oct 2004.
I have been looking at the USCIS regularly and the date they have been dealing with for the I-130 has been stuck on April 2001 for ages now.
How long does this generally take? I appreciate it doesn't happen over night but if they are only on 2001.....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Can anyone give me any advice.
Same problem with I-130
