  1. AFTER 1.5 months from N400 interview we finally get to take the oath ceremony, that sucked, too long to wait. Then what should take 1 hour in STL for oath stretched into 3 hours, once again why I have no idea, good ole USCIS, never in a hurry. We all sat in courtroom staring at one another for over hour until judge started ceremony which took 30 minutes to hour tops! Glad it is over final...

  2. Well, well, well....after waiting 3 months and a week finally had N400 interview, it lasted 5-10 minutes with both of us in the interview, yes USCIS officer told us both to come into her office and sit down! Do not ask me why, I have no idea, but it was easy, short and sweet! Did not even ask us all the questions off the application, maybe a 1/3 of them at most. Then we had to wait on...

  3. N400 is even more of the same BS as the 2 yr and 10 yr GC! Save all your supporting documents immediately after your 10 yr GC arrives cause your going to need them again for N400 application. This is the fastest step in process, 3-4 months you should have your interview and be looking at oath ceremony within days or month after interview approval. Interview is joke, takes only 10 minutes...

  4. 10 yr GC is more of the same BS as the 2 yr GC, save all the supporting documents you can for 1.75 years from day you got approved for 2 yr GC until the day you apply for the 10 yr GC . Took 3.75 months to get approved this time without a RFE. Keep anything and everything that is a document or letter that has both your names on it together showing joint ownership.

  5. 2 yr GC was a ton of paperwork and documents, better start saving as much stuff as possible from previous 2-3 years before you married so you can send it off and prove you are a legitimate couple. Only took about 3.5 months to get approved, no RFE, just GC card in the mail.

  6. If after 3 months waiting you do not have your K1 approved for interview, IMMEDIATELY contact your US Senator or US Representatives office and ask to file a Congressional Inquiry about your case. The same applies to your AOS application, three months is more than enough time for USCIS to receive and accept your application to begin working on it.

  7. Went to Social Security office two weeks exactly after entry to USA to apply for social security number, Dept of Homeland Security still has not updated SAVE or Social Security system so she has to wait for it to come in mail and Social Security office said they would automatically check it daily and print out card to mail when they receive information from Dept of Homeland Security, which is an a

  8. Applied at Nebraska Service Center as instructed to on K1 I129F form, ended up being sent to California Service Center and thus delayed. Finally got NOA2 approval Jan 8, but was only by email notice, have not received noa2 in regular mail yet.
