Hello All, 

My wife is a US citizen and she petitioned for me with i-130. And we also applied for AOS concurrently. We recently got RFE about affidavit of support, saying that my wife's income is not enough. Her income is actually enough according to 864p guidelines. However, it is not enough in the most recent tax return because she didn't work for the whole year. We submitted pay stubs for the last 12 months and a letter from her employer. If they have checked them, they would be convinced that her income is enough. 

So now; what we should do? 

Either, send the same documents and a cover letter explaining that she didn't have income for the whole year but her current income is enough. 

Or, find a joint sponsor! 

Which one you think will be the best?
