I know, thanks. its just a nerve racking wait and my wife is more worried than i am, u dont know what to expect from uscis but we submitted a lot of evidence. rent lease,joint tax returns,joint checking account,joint credit card account,joint utility bills, life insurance statements and photos, i hope it was enough

I had my AOS marriage based interview 2 days ago on 04/24/19 at Los angeles country office in DTLA. Interview was good in general,nice lady and at the the end she said since i was married less than 2 yrs, my residency will be conditional and i need to start gathering documents again from that day for ROC but my status changed that day to Interview Complete, Case  will be reviewed. Any LA filer in similar situation? This wait is nerve racking.

we have to wait for that now because we messed up on the 756.

 

Im not even sure how to understand processing times because the 485 gets mailed to Chicago Illinois but the USCIS site asks for a processing center and there are a ton of them.

i havent been scheduled yet. i dont understand it either but i know it gets sent to the city's field office where u reside and where u ll have ur interview. i think it would have been better to apply for EAD because it could take months to get an interview and your life wont have to be paused till u get your GC.

I really want to know how is your job hunting? Is it easy to get jobs with your EAD? What kinds of job? If you don’t mind, please share how you get the job. 

 

I just graduated last year, I don’t really have a skill. I am worried that it might be hard to get jobs, my first language is not English. I can speak English fluently but still not as good as native.

hi everyone i m new on here. we filed for marriage based AOS in january 2018. my spouse income didnt meet the poverty guidelines for a household of 2 so we used my assets to make up the difference as i have money in a savings account in my home country which was my inheritance. clearly the dollar equivalent of this funds makes up the difference. we got a 1st RFE in february that we needed to include assets with recent tax return and w2,1099 etc of my spouse. we did everything and also included a 12 month bank statement for proof of assets. now in july 2018 we got a 2nd RFE for the same thing asking for tax returns,proof of assets or use joint sponsor. the RFE said the assets were not enough when clearly they were way over the income shortfall. now we are confused on how to proceed.
