I got the same thing. Don't worry, it's most likely a glitch. Mine got updated to "accepted" a few days later, after my EAD status changed to "card in production".

The same thing happened to me today. Did you ever find out if it was just a glitch? I contacted US CIS but due to high call volume, they were unable to transfer my call to a Tier 2 Representative.
