I’m kind of after the same answer.  I had my Biometrics 8/1/19 and want to know the average amount of days it takes for the status to change and receive an interview date.  My current status still reads we have scheduled your biometrics 🤦🏻‍♂️

Did you status changed on new site after biometrics? Still mine is at fingerprint scheduled with no estimate time at bottom.

My wife did an early walk-in for biometrics. If I remember correctly, the website updated the same day to reflect that. That was over 2 weeks ago and we have yet to hear about being scheduled for the interview. The last online change was a few days ago when the "Estimated wait time" went from 3 months to 2.

My wait time also changed 1 month decreased after biometrics but status is still on biometrics scheduled.

I saw some people positing day after biometrics that status change to biometrics reviewed. Mine is still same biometrics scheduled. Maybe some glitch or something else.

I read some post that saying its ok you have a traffic ticket but just have to close it before interview

I have not applied yet was curious how to list them technically I did not got these to tickets these only vehicle was in my name.

  5. Good day,

We have vehicle Under both our names but my wife drives that and got two camera tickets one was for failure to yield before turning right and other was for speed. Because vehicle is on both of our names and I’m primary owner ticket shows my name also.

How should I address this in n400 citation part.

  6. I have two Questions:

1- I am filling n400 based on 3 year rule do I have to provide work history for 3 or 5 years.

2- I have tricky employment situtation. I get paid from one company but that company has multiple locations of same sort and I look after 6 places. So physically daily I go these sides. Do I write only place where I get check from or all places where I perform my duties.

    Thanks.

This page from government website shows that LPR are eligible for Obamacare including subsidies and it wont affect naturalization process.

    https://www.healthcare.gov/immigrants/lawfully-present-immigrants/

Applying for Medicaid or CHIP, or getting savings for health insurance costs in the Marketplace, doesn’t make someone a "public charge." This means it won’t affect their chances of becoming a Lawful Permanent Resident or U.S. citizen.

There’s one exception. People receiving long-term care in an institution at government expense may face barriers getting a green card.

    .

Right now uscis definition of public charge:

    A. Cash assistance for income maintenance and institutionalization for long-term care at government expense may be considered for public charge purposes. However, receipt of such benefits must still be considered in the context of the totality of the circumstances before a person will be deemed inadmissible on public charge grounds.

Public benefits that are received by one member of a family are also not attributed to other family members for public charge purposes unless the cash benefits amount to the sole support of the family.

Acceptance of the following types of assistance may lead to the determination that the individual is likely to become a public charge:

Supplemental Security Income (SSI) under Title XVI of Social Security Act

    • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF) cash assistance (part A of Title IV of the Social Security Act--the successor to the AFDC program) (Note: Non cash benefits under TANF such as subsidized child care or transit subsidies cannot be considered and non-recurrent cash payments for crisis situations cannot be considered for evidence of public charge)
    • State and local cash assistance programs that provide benefits for income maintenance (often called "General Assistance" programs)
    • Programs (including Medicaid) supporting individuals who are institutionalized for long-term care (e.g., in a nursing home or mental health institution). (Note: costs of incarceration for prison are not considered for public charge determinations)

This is not an exhaustive list of the types of cash benefits that could lead to a determination that a person is likely to become primarily dependent on the government for subsistence, and thus, a public charge. Receipt of any such cash benefits not listed above will continue to be assessed under the “totality of the circumstances” analysis described above.

This is current policy so this does not matter now?  People who were following these guidelines will be punished?

  9. Yes It looks old one but this time they included citizenship and obamacare also. So if someone uses subsidies which are perfectly legal for LPR’s or they use medicaid after living 5 years in US. They would be denied. I check healthcare.gov they still mention getting health insurance in these two form won’t effect getting green card or citizenship.
