(CR-1) My husband has been in the states since 7/5/19 (still waiting for his permanent resident  card) he’s been to the US before on an H2B visa already has a SSN & card. Does he still have to wait for his permanent resident card to work and get his drivers license or can he use his SSN & card that he already has?

Is it mandatory to pay the $220

before coming to the states or can you pay later? Will they be turned away at the point of entry? 

My husbands visa was issued on June 27 at the embassy in Kingston, Jamaica. How many days is the normal wait time in Jamaica to receive your visa? 

My husband had his embassy interview on May 10,2019 at the embassy in Kingston Jamaica. He was approved at his interview and they took his passport. We had our case expedited so they were just waiting on the medical exam. The hospital sent over the exam and we’ve been in administrative processing since May 28,2019. Yesterday June 25,2019 it was changed to “Ready” and today it was changed back to “Administrative Processing”. What does that mean? Is this a bad sign?
