    Hi Dalida,

I am in a similar situation except we didn't receive any RFE. The local office received my case on March 2018 and now I have gotten an interview notice only for I751 in July. I applied for N400 on April 2018. It is disappointing that they are bringing us in only for I751 interview, we sent a lot of documents and I don't even know what they are going to ask us about... We have been married for four years.

Hi Florist. I know how it feels. I think you have absolutely nothing to worry about. Just take as much paperwork as you can for your interview. It's better to be ready. I had a big folder with all kinds of paperwork. My officer didn't ask for any of that but he knew that i had it all. Just relax and be confident. Between me and my husband I'm the one who stresses out the most but this time i just decided to let it go. There is not much you can do. If you submitted enough paperwork at the beginning the reason of the interview can be just to verify if you guys are still together. At the end of the day thats probably a reason why we had interview. A folder that he had about my case was huge with all those original and RFE docs. He said it was a good thing. Just make sure all your stuff is organized because if an officer asks you for a document and it takes you forever to find it you will start stressing out for no reason. Good luck!

  2. Guys I have a question. I got my Green Card about two weeks ago and out of nowhere I got an email today saying that

“On June 14, 2018, we mailed your document for Receipt Number WAC*********, directly to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your document by July 14, 2018, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request the document be sent to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschangeto give us your new mailing address.

This step applies to applications that result in an applicant receiving a card (such as a "green card") or other document (such as a naturalization certificate, employment authorization document, travel document, or advance parole). Applications will be in this step from the time the order to produce the card/document is given until the card/document is produced and mailed to the applicant. You can expect to receive your card/document within 30 days of the approval of your application. If you do not receive your document, please contact our National Customer Service Center at 1-800-375-5283. “

Does anyone know why I got this now?

I'm sorry you have to go through so much and jump through so much hoops even when you had all your documents and paperwork intact, what was the officer reasoning about the bank account? It seems that they are nit picking a lot more on applications than before..

I guess they want to see both spouses using the account. I don’t know how they see it but he knew that I was the only one who was using the account. My husband explained why I’m the only one who’s using it so he didn’t have any questions after.

  4. Hi guys, I would like to share with you my experience. Hopefully it will help some of you. In July 2016 i applied for removal of condition. Me and my husband, we've been married for 5 years already. We sent a lot of paperwork and pictures. Around November 2017 after multiply requests and phone calls we finally got an RFE. I guess the reason was our bank account. Even though we shared a bank account i was the one who was using it the most. So it took us about a week to get updated paperwork and sent it back. In March 2018 when i was checking my status online it was saying "Case Was Received At My Local Office And A New Office Has Jurisdiction". I had a lawyer and she told me that most likely we'll have an interview. And thats exactly what happened. We had interview in May. Our officer was extremely polite and respectful. The only question he had was about my bank account.... that's it! It took us about 20-30 mins total. I received my card 1 week after. I have to mention that we applied for citizenship in April 2018 but because it was so close to an interview date both cases were not combined.
