    I haven't filed N-400 even though I'm eligible

    Here is my timeline -

05/13/20 - The fingerprints relating to your Form I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, were taken. (The old one was applied automatically due to covid office closures)

11/09/20 - Your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, was transferred to another office for processing.

11/10/20 - We transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, to another USCIS office that now has jurisdiction over your case.

As for the evidence we submitted  with my for I-751.

Same here, I will wait what exact reason they transfered for hope its just workload and we all get approved soon.   Meanwhile i receive another update. You may also receive the same soon.

Case Was Transferred And A New Office Has Jurisdiction

i recieved that new update also few hours ago. hopefully we get approved soon without the interview. i had an interview during my AOS and we have to travel 3hrs to get to the USCIS. i dont want to have the same hassle especially during this pandemic.

    Hi Everyone,

Today I received Case Status Update, do you know what does this mean and how should i see this. ?

    Case Transferred To Another Office

On October 27, 2020, we transferred your Form I-751, Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence, Receipt Number WAC19903XXXXto another office for processing and sent you a transfer notice. The notice explains why we transferred your case. Please follow the instructions in the notice. If you do not receive your notice by November 26, 2020, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-request to request a copy of the notice. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address.

i recieved the same notification last night. im also from california service center. waiting for the letter in the mail.

Ok this is so crazy...we JUST got the same notification! We never got a biometrics appointment notice before the shutdown, though. What this appears to mean is that USCIS is waiving biometrics appointments if they already have your fingerprints on file and don't have a compelling reason to collect them again. Since we had an AOS interview in November 2017, I'm hopeful that the next step for us is approval and issuance of green card.

i got the same notification too but i haven't recieved any biometrics appointment. hopefully this is a good sign.

    Hello Everyone,

Hope you are doing well. Im not sure where I can find advice on this or if any of you know, but can I travel home ( to my home country?) after filing I-751 and have not received an update yet. My green card only expires on January 25 2019, but I have a family emergency back home now that requires me to leave immediately. Does anyone know anything? I filed last week packet was delivered Wednesday and have not got anything back.

there should not ba a problem since your GC is not expired yet. i travelled outside US last august and my GC expired Oct 2019. i didn't encounter any problem back then, they just told me to send my papers immediately when i arrived back here.

I told her to call the USCIS and check on her Green Card to verify if it is a mistake or not so it does not cause problems for a future Naturalization application.

hello, my friend also got a 10yr GC but they have been married 1yr 1 month at the time of interview. she said that it is not a mistake bec. the interviewer told them that they will get the 10yr. GC. i wonder what happened to your friend's case? is there any problem caused by the 10yr. GC?

You need to get it corrected. The "residence since" date is supposed to be the day you were APPROVED. Marriage date doesn't mean anything to USCIS except to know if you get a 2 year or 10 year GC. Sorry this happened. It just happened to me too. Mine has our filing date from 2017 on it. I'm going to an Infopass tomorrow to talk to them about it. I really suggest you do the same. We are supposed to do ROC in 2020, not 2019.

hi. did you do the infopass already? what did they tell you? i am thinking. if it will expire oct. 2020. then i will be eligible for naturalization by then bec. i would be 3yr. married by 2020. but i will try to call uscis about it.

Do we get to go in together then fir the interview?🙂

yes, you go in together😊. for our interview, they just asked original copies of our birth certificates, passports, and marriage cert. for verification. i gave them also proof of relationship like health/renters insurance, utility bill, 401k beneficiary, apartment lease. they said i came for the interview over prepared. which is a good thing i guess.. i brought pictures too but they didnt bother seeing it. the interviewer go over my application for adjustment. verfying all the info's are correct. and then she asked me few questions from the yes/no questions at the end of the application. Affidavit of Support is in good shape. they didnt bother to ask any additional document. and i did another medical exam prior to interview bec. my medical for fiance visa exceeded 1 yr already. but they said my previous medical is still good.

For anyone who has had their AOS interview:

Did they interview both you and your spouse?

im curious if they interview both for certain countries

you have to bring your spouse on the interview. its a requirement. but most of the questions will be for the applicant. they may ask the spouse few questions.

    Hey Everyone,

I just wanted to let you know I had my interview on September 24th in Fresno and we were approved 5 hours later!!!! I was WAY over prepared, I would rather be over prepared the under!

Our appointment was at 9AM and we arrived at 8:35AM. We went through the little security checkpoint and then checked in where we were given a piece of paper with a number that they would call when it is our turn.Once we checked in we were instructed to take the elevator to the 3rd floor I believe, its the only floor you can choose, once there you sit and wait till your number is called. We only waited about 10 maybe 15 minutes. We were called to a small office in the back with a very nice lady, she really put us at ease. She asked us to raise our right hand and swear that we are telling the whole truth and nothing but the truth. Then she asked if we could please provide her with our orginals of both our Birth Certificates, Passports & out Marriage Certificate, I brought copies but she already had them on file and did not need them. Then she asked me a few of the yes or no questions that I had answered on the I-485 and checked to make sure they matched what I had answered. Then she asked when was the first time I entered the united states, I thought she meant in regards to our relationship but she actually meant ever! I told her gosh maybe when I was 3, I lived very close to the boarder so we would travel across the line all the time. Then she asked me my fathers full name and asked if my parents lived or had legal citizenship in the United States of America. She asked if I am now employed, which I am as I was approved on August 20th for my EAD, so she just had me fill in the information on the original I-485, I brought a letter of employment but she did not need it. She looked out our photo album, which I was very excited about as I worked very hard on that, she loved the details of where and when we were in those places. Then that was it, it maybe took 15 minutes. She said that we would receive an update if our application was approved or not later, did not specify a time, and then handed us a letter saying at this point the application is still being reviewed but that they do not need any further information at this point. As we were about to leave she asked if we wanted to leave some photos for our file as if we are approved it would just be conditionally for 2 years and then we need to reapply which at that point you have to come back for an interview, BUT if we left some photos we may not have to come back for an interview.... OF COURSE we gladly left some photos haha. Then she requested we go to window 3 for them to take biometerics on me again and then we could leave. We went to window 3 the lady take fingerprints of my index finger on both hands and took a picture and she was done! 5 hours later we received an update online that our case was APPROVED!!! The card is already in the mail and expected to arrive October 1st! Everyone at the Fresno was so kind and so welcoming.

If anyone has any questions please feel free to reach out to me, I wish everyone the best of luck in their journey!!
