  1. Hello everyone

I am writing this for a friend who is trying to petition to bring his step son (wife son) to the US. Does anyone know if it would be better for him to petition or her as a per. resident? Also they were rejected one time before for not having enough evidence. When submitting the I-130 should you include letters, pictures, phone bills ect ect with the package? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  2. Good Evening my VJ friends.

My wife is looking to go and visit the Philippines. She plans to stay for three weeks. She has her old passport with her maiden name on it. Can she travel with that passport and what else might she need to travel to the Philippines. We are currently in the process of removing her conditions on her temp residency.

Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.

  3. Hi Travis and Michelle,

I am still waiting on the decision, but no, G-325A is not required. I am assuming you are clear on the evidence and that's why you didn't ask about that. There are many threads here with many suggestions on what to include...

Good luck and glad to hear about your happiness...

Thanks for the info. We got evidence and friends/family affidavits. Again thanks I just wanted to make sure.

  4. Hello All,

It's been the best years of my life being married to my wife. We are now preparing our package to remove her conditional status. I wanted to find out from those, who have successfully made it through this stage, if you had to file a G-325A Bio Information form. I don't see it on the FAQ or Guide sections of our website but I have seen it referenced is some places and websites so I wanted to make sure.

Thanks in advance for you help.

    God bless...

  5. Hello All,

I know it has been a while since I was on the board, please forgive me...

I come with another question that I hope some of you can help me with.

My wife and I were getting a new Philippine passport for her at the department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) and during the review of our applications it was pointed out that she was require to use her fathers last name as her middle name. She chose not to do this on all of her US immigration files and applications for personnel reasons.

We applied for the passport, with no other choice, using her father's last name as her middle name and now none of her US Documents and ID match her new Philippine passport. Has anyone done this and do any of you have any suggestion or is something not worrie about.

Thanks for all the replys in advance...

  6. Daniel and Parul,

This is possible...it was the same for my expedite request. I sent it in and called the CSC about it a few days later and they said they did not have and I would have to call the NVC. I called the NVC and they said they have already sent it to Manila and I would have to call the Embassy in Manila so I called the Embassy and they said yes we had it for about a week and told me to call back in two weeks to get my interview date. To me this all seem to move very fast if you read some of my earlier post you will see were I was kind of shocked...happy but shocked! The only thing that NVC did for me that they have not done for you was provide me with a case number. What I did was give them my petition number WAC*****, beneficiary full name, DOB and they looked up petition or me. Told me what I stated earlier in the post and gave me the case number(MNL******) and I used that when I called the Embassy to check the visa’s status.

    Hope this story helps you,

    Good Luck Michelle and Travis

  7. All,

Did not think of this before but as Michelle and I were going over the DS-156,156K and 157 forms I realized that we might need to get a police clearance for Saipan. She visited there for a week so we could spend time together and since they ask the question on one of the forms "List what countries you entered in the past 10 years" what do you all think and should I just get one to be safe.

    Thanks

    Michelle and Travis

  8. Congratulations!!!! My fiance is still waiting to receive packet 3. It was sent Nov. 21, so hopefully she will have it this week. Good luck!

Thanks everyone, I just get so excited as the interview date get closer and closer...Good luck afterforever, I hope you get the package very soon.

Good luck and be safe everyone,

    Michelle and Travis

  9. Thanks for the replies.

I should've been a little more specific - I'll be posting to Germany (overseas) and may or may not be deploying from there. If I delay the process but don't have the embassy extend my petition, will I have to restart the process? Thanks again.

I had to expedite my I-129f due to deployment and it moved very quickly...I have gone from waiting on Oct 25 to now we have our interview on Jan 3rd which is perfect for our schedule. All I did was write a letter to CSC telling them my situtions faxed to them and they took care of it from there.

    Good luck TJ

  10. Hello All,

Michelle is getting ready for her Medical appiontment and I we want to see if someone could tell us what forms she is going to fill up at St. Lukes.

    Thanks in advance,

    TJ

PDS! Personnal data [disclosure] sheet. Or something like that. Ask for medical history. Also asks the petioners address and some other info. Ask POE also.

If she knows everything about you no worrys.

My wife took her CP in with her and did call me for POE will filling it out.

Thanks for the info friend, safe travels and continued good luck.

  11. Everyone,

I was so excited I had to tell you all that Michelle and I was scheduled for our interview to be held on 3 Jan 2008. She will be attending her Med. appiontment on the 20 Dec 2007. I plan on being there for the interview. This is a great date becasue it give Michelle and I sometime before I deploy.

Thanks everyone for you help I could not have done it with all your support.

Take Care and Good Luck to you all:

  12. Hello everyone,

Michelle and I are doing great. As some of you may or may not know I sent in letter to expedite due to my up and coming military deployments. I fax the letter over to the CSC on 16 Oct 2007. After that the flood gates open. My petition was approved by the CSC then sent to NVC. It left the NVC and was received by the Embassy in Manila on Nov 6th. My only question is can it really move that fast? I am glad it has but I guest I been waiting and waiting that it just seems fast. I did confirm all of this when I called the NVC and the Embassy in Manila. What do you all think? I hope this might be a indication of the process seeding up for all of us.

    Take care TJ

  13. All,

Due to the slow down in processing of petitions because of the influx of application being received by the service centers. I had to request a Military Expedite with the hope that we can get approved before I deploy. With all this being said, has anyone ever made such a request? If so what was the results? The slow down in processing and my deployment schedule has made this even tougher than before. Thanks in advance for info.

    Take Care

    TJ
