I just had my combined interview. I passed the tests but the system was down so they said checked in a few days but I should be approved. They never asked about my wife whereabouts, so she need not attend.

 

Here is how it went:

I was asked for bank statements from 2017/2018 as well as the latest tax filing.

I had to sign a statement saying that my green card was confiscated (have to take to the oath ceremony) and that if I receive a new card, I will return it in the mail.

Took the test (6 questions, 1 read statement and 1 write statement)

Then I was asked a series of questions about my affiliations, myself and my wife.

After that confirm my info and name change (if any).

 

Took a notice that I have been through the interview and the statement and left. 

 

 

I received 2 updates just now:

I-751: Your name was updated

N-400: oath ceremony will be scheduled

case transferred to lee summit mo on may 8th i received the i797 notice for the transfer

n400 filed on november 8th 2017

biometrics done on december 21st 2017
