  2. Hi all,

I have a question: Today I received another email today from CRIS saying:

"On May 30, 2007, we mailed you a notice that we have approved this

CRI89 PETITION TO REMOVE CONDITIONS OF PERMANENT RESIDENT STATUS RECEIVED.

Please follow any instructions on the notice. If you move before you

receive the notice, call customer service...."

This is in addition to the email I received from CRIS several days ago saying " the card production ordered."

So the question is: they sent me the 10-year card AND an Approval notice letter? Did any of you receive both, or just the card? I have not received the card yet.

    Thanks!

  3. I suggest that you wait a little bit. Maybe another week or so. Imagine they have thousands and thousands of similar cases. It might be possible that different staff working on different cases-so some of them mgiht be faster than the others due to whatever reasons. But the VSC is defenitely moving now as opposed to several months ago.

The date of my NOA1 is 12/21/06. Thanks!!
    Hi everyone,

I just want to share my happiness with you all-after months' waiting, VSC approved my I-751!

    Here is my timeline:

11/24/06: sent in I-751 to VSC

    11/27/06: VSC received my package

12/3/06: check cashed (I cannot remember the exact date, but it is roughly around 12/3)

    12/21/06: NOA1 received

    1/5/07: Biometrics notice recieved

    1/22/07: Biometrics taken

5/24/07: I-751 approved, 10-year green card production ordered by VSC

It's been a real nice experience here with you all. Thanks for all the info!

    Congrats!

  6. Did you have to pay an extra $70 for the biometrics? I assume that you paid the VSC for $205 for the I-751 petition. I sent out a check of $205 in November 2006 before the new fee and new form became available. The VSC cashed the check and I am scheduled for the Biometrics tomorrow 1/22/07 here in upstate New York. But now the new fee is $275, as far as I've known. So I was wondering if we need to make up the difference. Thanks!

  7. Hi everyone,

The Individual Fee Register Receipt seems to be a new thing, is it? I never heard about it. I sent out my I-751 11/24/06 to VSC. They cashed my check of $205 11/29/06. This was the fee and the form they required then. Apparently it's been changed. But, so far, I haven't got anything from VSC, no NOA, no Individual Fee Register Receipt. Does anybody have any idea about this?

    Time line for I-751:

Sent out to VSC 11/24/06 via certified mail

    VSC received 11/27

    VSC cashed check of $205

No news, no NOA, no Individual Fee Register Receipt, as of today 1/9/07 ?????
