K1 is hard because a lot of the time you are home just waiting and you need to figure out ways to keep yourself occupied. Do chores around the house, make friends with neighbors and explore your new area you live in. And also financially is better with the CR1 as you could have been working by now. 

 

Some people have been able to expedite their work permit with a job offer. So if you can get a job offer you MIGHT be able to ask for an expedite. Otherwise you just have to stay patient.

@little immigration, sorry for bothering you please. Am thinking of submitting a services request to USCIS, honestly I need to work. The load is too much on my wife and she's trying her best. I filled in on December 8, 2017. Biometrics done 2 weeks after and Initial evidence was mailed January 25, 2018. Do to filling of tax, we reply USCIS on April 1, 2018 and was updated online on April 6, 2018 ( case received, we will start working back on your case). It's 3 months now, since I have submitted the initial evidence to USCIS and up till now, I have not hear anything from them. EAD is not yet received talkless of scheduling for interview I check my mailbox every day and it still says evidence received, we will start working back on your case since then. Please what can I do. Your advice is appreciated. Thanks

The requested documents was sent to them on April 2nd and was received on April 6th. That's 7 weeks now, almos 2 months.

Yes, they received it. 7 weeks now and since then I have not heard anything from them.

Thank you little immigration, I got a response 3 days after I sent the requested documents. 

We received your response to our Request for Evidence for your Form I485, APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR ADJUST STATUS, Receipt Number MSC.... Our National Benefits Center office will begin working on your case again. We will mail you a decision or notify you if we need something from you. If you move.....

So like how soon can I be expecting something from them, it's already 7 weeks now. Thanks
