I agree wholeheartedly with debbiedoo as I have been so to speak around the block a time or two, but in no way shape or form does this K1 process diminish the excitement and the romance out of the marriage idea. I would venture to say that I am quite older than most here so maybe my reasoning is a bit different. I have nothing but excitement for getting married  "again". Task focused sure it is, so is life in general but i still daydream big time of when I'll be waiting for my fiancee in the arrival area of the airport. I have so much to show her and she has so much to experience here. best I can suggest to you Jil is to don't under any circumstances let this K1 process beat you down don't do it, because if you do you have lost before you have even started.

Things will get better and easier I am sure of that so take a deep breath and hang in there. We are almost there and come on I know you daydream only a robot would not!!!!!!!!!

Btw am I tired of waiting yeah big time, but my eyes are on the prize!!!!!!

Thank you so much for the encouragement. Helps so much! All the best to all of us :)

The "expiration dates" on USCIS forms are for internal purposes only.

If a new version of the form hasn't been released, you can keep using a form after that date.

The important thing is to always download forms directly from USCIS to make sure you get the current version.

Thank you all for your answers! day 87 and counting...Do you all feel that this process is taking romance out of the whole marriage idea? How should I say, it is just too...task-focused, instead of daydreaming about the wedding and newly wedded life.
