For CSC filers
Filed : 4/3/2018
Arrived : 4/6/2018
Check cashed : 5/21/2018
Received NOA : 5/21/2018
One more thing as a reminder, in order to check your status with your receipt number, you have to wait until you get the bio-metric appointment letter. It won't show anything until you have that ACS bio metric receipt.
To all the CSC people, waiting desperately, hope it helps.

Folks - I have an update. Nothing Net New. I spoke to a Tier 2 as it was my 31st Day. This is what he told me
- They had a meeting with CSC because of a lot of calls especially on 751 cases.
- CSC informed them that they have put a new IT system a place and they are testing it out and will start entering the applications in.
- Should take 6-8 weeks for getting a receipt from the date of filing.
- If you filed in time - You are not out of status
- Lastly - in the same meeting - they discussed about the possibility of getting a stamp using InfoPass and his advice was that the Local Centers will NOT give you a stamp w/o anything in the system.
Anyway, good guy...but USCIS says a lot of contradictory stuff. I was asked to call back in 2 weeks.
If this is true, i will get my receipt very soon. It's been more than a 6 weeks since i filed.
I have a good feeling. Thanks for sharing this. I need this kind of info more.

I called uscis and was told to wait 30 days , then I call back after the 30 day mark and was told to wait at least 60 days. Checked is not cashed and of course no NOA either. The representative said they are working as fast as possible because they know thousands of people are in the same situation.
I feel like CSC is going to issue the I 797 soon just like VSC. Just little bit further, it's around that corner.
I'm counting everyday and checking everyday because, i got the job offer but my green card is already expired since 10th. Still waiting from Background check from the new job.
Life is all about waiting right now
It will be coming real soon.

It's kinda sad we don't get the info from Uscis but from other 3rd party. It will be nice if they notice us with simple statement why for delay and when they gonna set it off again.
It shouldn't be that hard to let people know at the first time. It's been over 45 days since i filed my i 751.

Sorry for the late update. I called USCIS last Friday. I filed with CSC on 4/10/2018.
The whole process went smoothly, and the girl on the line was very nice. She transferred me over to Tier 2 without my asking. I told the T2 officer that I filed my application a month ago, and have not have my check cashed nor a NOA receipt. He said they've been getting a lot of calls from applicants, but were only just given confirmation the day before (Thursday, 5/10/18) that the waiting time for NOA receipts is now a 60-day wait limit (as opposed to the current 30 days). He said not to worry, and that it does not necessarily mean that the application was rejected or lost. They are backed up and the whole process, in turn, is taking a longer time, even for receipts. He said at this point it's best to wait it out, and to call again once the 60 day limit has been reached if the check still hasn't been cashed/NOA not sent.
At this point, it seems like there isn't too much else to do but wait, unfortunately. VSC seems to have finally gotten a head-start with processing the April applications, and we can only hope that CSC does the same soon. I'm not sure about the legality of status if your green card's expired. I would have asked but he called me back when I was driving, and I felt bad shouting into the speaker, and in all honestly, I'm not even sure if they would know..
So its 60 days waiting term now.
Nothing can do but wait at this point then.
Thanks for updating and sharing infos. This is what we need

Hey guys, I have been following this thread. I am excited to say that my check was just cashed. I am not able to update the document just yet but I will once I get to a computer. We are hoping for no RFE but also excited that things started to move for us. Hoping the same for everyone else!
Congrats!
Was that from csc?

I just spoke with Tier 2 officer. He said to send an email to the lock box and resubmit the package if I won't hear anything back. Pretty standard reply. They don't have information or don't want to provide any more information over the phone
exactly! There's nothing we can do but wait
Mine has already passed a month. And my green card is bout to be expired tomorrow. As i checked people check cashed out today in VSC. Im gonna give it 2 more weeks.

I just spoke to the uscis tier 2 officer. She mentioned that this is most likely big loads of work that causing delay on I-797
It's been over a month i waited for Notice of action but my cashier's check still has not chased out yet.
Officer told me wait out another 2 more weeks. If i don't get notice by that time, i most likely have to resend the application.
And for those whose green card is about to be expired, it is fine as long as i-751 is submitted within 90 days before expiration date.
She said that we are not out of status while we are on waiting, its just that we don't have something to show off until we get i-797 with 1 year automatic extension.
So, hold on tight guys. We almost there.
