  1. Hey Visa Journeriers,

I was wondering once the Adjustment of Status process has begun (we went for the bio-metric exam, but have not yet had the interview). My spouse and I are considering going live in his country temporarily (few years), would we have to abandon the AOS or is there some type of way (document) that would allow the non USC come back to America when we decide to come back to the USA to live or otherwise visit?

  2. Anyone have advice on getting help for your foreign spouse adjust to America? Finding friends of the same nationality, a job and other resources that will better help them become acclimated to their new life. Also, maybe support groups or help for the American citizen also on how to help the non American spouse. Teaching them everything can be a bit overwhelming so with some support in place, I feel like it could help both parties feel better. The whole AOS process of the non citizen having to be at home and almost disconnected from the world is hard on the relationship. Any one have any rationale useful advice?

  3. Hello All,

Anyone know how much the medical exam fee will be for everything (vaccinations included) in North Cyprus? I emailed the doctors office but the response they gave was Ill tell you once you get here. An estimate would sure make life a bit easier just so I can know what to expect. Thanks for your help.

  4. Hello,

Last Friday I received an email from the NVC stating they are mailing my case to my fiance country (Cyprus) for processing. So my question is, do we need to wait to take the next steps before scheduling the medical exam and interview or can we proceed without the official letter the embassy will send? If at all realistic I would like to accomplish the medical and K1 interview within these last 2 weeks of May.
