I received the visa today. It didn't say "do not open": I assumed my passport was in it and I would need it for the airport
I opened it and there isn't any other package inside, just my original documents that i gave in the interview. And my passport which was located inside of the folded documents. Thereis a sticker in my passport with my cr1 visa information. I thought I needed a sealed envelope??
At the time of the interview i was told it was an electronic visa. Does that mean there is no package needed??
thanks for you help

I'm confused guys! I got CC the 29th of July, still waiting on interview
I have seen people that are "Ready for interview" for months before they get the interview, just like omar jameel
Is this normal? Should I expect that to happen to me as well?
It's getting tiring not knowing. If only they could give us a good estimate. They said it'd probably take around 3 motnhs for me to get the interview after case complete and it's been almost 5 now. It's so annoying. I call and call and all they say is that I need to wait.😔

How far in advance can we get the medical exam done?
We don't have an interview yet, and I am planning on visiting my husband for a couple weeks.
I am worried that I might get scheduled a week after my return.
If I do the medical two days before the interview, is that enough time for the results to get processed in time for the interview?
THank you

I got Case Complete from NVC on the 23rd of July, Still waiting on interview appointment... It's been a bit over two months now. MY lawyer says it can take up to 3 months to get the interview appointment so I'm trying to be patient.
I'm from Spain, btw.

Hi everyone!
On July 23rd we received an email from NVC informing us that our case had been documentarily qualified and that we were to wait till the NVC scheduled an interview with me at my consulate (in Madrid, Spain). We haven't received any further contact from either NVC or the Consulate of Madrid so far. I used the Public enquiry form to ask about it ( https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/national-visa-center/nvc-contact-information.html )and I got the following email:
QuoteThe petition is waiting for an appointment to be scheduled at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in , . When an interview appointment is scheduled, the petitioner, principal applicant, designated agent, and attorney of record (if applicable) will be notified.
I am a bit worried that the automated message didn't state the location of my embassy. I have researched online and other people getting similar emails always got the location of their embassy. Obviously I know where my embassy is, I'm just wondering if there is missing information in their systems and if that could be hindering my visa process.
Who should I contact for this?

THank you!! I was freaking out because I really thought I had to be careful not to open the wrong envelope, and was very very confused when I found my passport along with the originals.
