we filed for the G-1145 form with the I-129F to get email notification from USCIS
We filed it too, but we only provided my email and phone number, not my fiancee's...

My then fiance, now wife, also got a email from the Kiev embassy on how to proceed with the necessary step and whatnot to bring to the interview.
Oh, that is interesting... I don't think I knew there was such an option for a beneficiary to receive emails.
Whom/how/where did you provide with your fiancee's email? -

when you get your nvc case # you can put the address for delivery of your passport. the beneficiaries address doesnt really come into play nowhere other than that
I'm not sure we are on the same page with you...
Let me rephrase:
I'm a U.S. citizen, and I'd like to update my fiancee's mailing address because, in my understanding, the embassy/consulate will send my fiancee the instructions to that address. -
Sorry if this is off-topic, but I need to update my fiancee's mailing address.
Two old threads (1, 2) suggest to do that after the NVC has our case.
As per another suggestion I read somewhere else, I'm going to request an update by calling them and also mailing them, but I can't figure out what address to use:This page says:
Mail (for immigrant visa inquiries only):
National Visa Center
Attn: WC
31 Rochester Avenue
Suite 200
Portsmouth, NH 03801-2915But K-1 is in the non-immigrant sections on some sites, on others in immigrant...

Both links 404 now.
Do you happen to have the newer versions of those? -
Hello, I've reviewed many threads here, but still have some questions.
My fiancee is from Belarus.
Maybe somebody from Belarus who recently had an interview in Warsaw, Poland could help me out.

As I understood, the medical exam can be done only after receiving the case number from NVC, but no need to wait for the documents to reach the embassy/consulate.
Do you know whether it is allowed to do the medical before we even get the case number? - When did you obtain the police certificate? Right after receiving the case number from NVC, too?
- Do you remember how much time it took for the medical exam and police certificate and how much did you pay?
- Does my fiancee's birth certificate needs to be translated and notarized or just translated?
- Do I, U.S. citizen (USC), need to do anything special to be allowed at my fiancee's interview? Do I just come to the interview with my passport and will be allowed in? No need for me to fill out DS-160?
Thank you in advance!

Hi:
Just as a reminder. Do not do the same mistake that others have done. The moment you enter the US, go online and get you I-94 and print it out. If possible go before you get married and apply for your Social Security number. As all of us that live currently in the US know very well that basically nothing can be done w/o a social security number. I dragged my wife outta bed the next morning with printed I-94 and necessary paperwork to file for social security and later that same day we got our marriage license, officiant to sign our license and marriage certificate, all in less than 10 hours. Currently times for AOS are extremely long. Do yourself a favor and file as soon as you can. Wedding ceremonies and else can be done later.
Thanks and good luck to ya'll
So you went to an SSA office first, then to a city hall, right?

The birth certificate translation can be done at any time, even before receiving the case number from NVC, right?
And the translation doesn't need to be notarized, correct?
Thank you! -

all you need as a USC to attend the interview is your passport, but I can only talk about the Kiev embassy. they allowed me to stand by my fiance at the interview also. Some embassy don't even allow you to go in to the embassy while the fiance is being interviewed. In Kiev, no prior notice required or special exception to go in with her/him inside
@Alabamak1, how will the security officers at the embassy entrance know/confirm I'm legitimately there for my fiancee's interview and not some random person?
Or, do they let all USCs into the building without an issue? -

@Alabamak1, thank you for the detailed explanation.
My fiancee is from Belarus, her interview will be in Warsaw, Poland.
I have checked all 15 pages of the Belarus portal, but haven't found the info I needed. There were a couple of posts from a few years ago, but I wanted recent information. -

I highly suggest to go with your fiance to the interview
Hi @Alabamak1, would you be so kind to let me know what's required for USC to go to the interview?
Does USC need to ask for a “permission” from the consulate first?
Does USC need to fill out DS-160 for that?
Any other forms and/or paperwork?
I tried to find that information myself, but haven't succeeded.
Thank you in advance.
