hope this is the right forum: after my wife got a green card (I'm a US citizen), we've lived in US for 1.5 years, then we had to move to Europe because of work and we are planning to stay here for a long time. We moved here last February, so based on what I've read, my wife's green card has lost its validity. However, all articles that I've read relate only to getting back the permanent residence status, but we are only looking to get the tourist visa for her, so our kids can visit grandparents back in the US. Can anybody suggest how we should approach such matter ?
