Happy Monday everyone! I've been MIA, sorry. On Super Bowl Sunday, Badr and I went to San Fran. It was the most beautiful day. We started out at the beach and then spent the day in the city. Tuesday we were supposed to find out what we're having, but the stinker was breach and hiding everything. Then on the way to work Wednesday, I was rear-ended on the freeway. They immediately took me away in an ambulance. The baby and I are doing fine. And my car is just fine too. Teach the jerk who hit me, to pay attention and not rear-end an SUV with a spare tire on the back. LOL. His hood was all the way into his windshield because of my lucky spare tire. Nothing else is new with us. Just packing and waiting for AOS and EAD.

I'm so sorry Nutty.

I know what you're feeling. A week before Christmas I got a 60 notice that my job was ending. I was victim to a mass layoff. My last day of work is February 17th.

Happy Friday everyone! Badr and I are off to San Francisco tomorrow for a great day in the bay. Breakfast on the beach, lunch in Union Square park and a nice seafood dinner.

5 more days til we see what we're having. I can't wait.

Happy Monday everyone! I just got done taking Badr to the dentist. 2 teeth fixed today and possibly 2 more next week. Good ol Moroccan dentists, gez.

Girl, I hope you don't have the same issue I did...hubby racked up an 823.00 dental bill! Wisdom teeth, deep root cleanings, old fillings, etc.

He originally went in to have a filing put in that fell out. But then after looking at xrays, there's more trouble with his teeth. One tooth was "fixed" but come to find out, there's in infection inside it. So the dentist had to reopen the crown and clean out the infection. So he's on anti-biotics now. He also has to go back next week for a root canal and to check on the infected tooth. Good thing I added him to my insurance right after we got married.

We just need to get all of this work done before we move and won't have this insurance coverage.

Maggie is a sweatheart and is always checking to see how I'm doing.

Sadly yes, you really need to read the labels - almost all gummi candy has gelatin, marshmallows, etc. Most chocolates do not but I was surprised about Junior Mints - I used to love to eat those at the movies Also a lot of yogurt has gelatin in it, including most Dannon brands.

I love Junior Mints. I eat a yogurt every morning. My store brand yogurt lists the gelatin as Kosher Gelatin. So I hope I'm still safe. What do you think?

Happy Thursday! It's raining like cats and dogs outside. I guess the nice Cali weather didn't last long.

I always compare going to the doctors like taking your car into the shop. They always find other things that you had no idea about.

Can everyone keep me and my daughter in their prayers today? I'm moving out of state and today the judge decides if I get to take my daughter with me or I only get her 2 months out of the year for summer break and every other Christmas.

Oh no, Badr came through San Fran. It took him a few hours to get through. I hope it doesnt take so long for you as he'll be connecting to another flight.

I was thinking this morning, the last time I was pregnant, I watched the twin towers fall. And this time I'm watching a African American be sworn into office. Something to remind my children of when they get older.

I've tried both. We have Vonage at the house in Morocco and I tried to setup MJ at his aunt's house. I couldn't get MJ to work there. I don't know if it was becuase her connection was slower than dirt or a defective MJ. So family just comes over to Badr's house to borrow the Vonage phone. I loved it during the visa filing process because I could go online and download all of our conversations for the interview. It came in really handy.

That's the day before my daughter's birthday. Too bad I won't be living in Cali during that time or I might have taken the drive up.

Jenn-I remember the mosquitos being nasty. They loved me. Isn't that where you can get Typhoid from? I never got any vacines and I was fine.

True, very true. But I'm on Cali time. I will try. 6PM is when I get to my parents to pick her up. So as soon as I get home, I'll see if she wants to watch a movie or something. I will try, no promises though.

Hey everybody, happy Monday or as happy as you can make it. I want to thank all of you for your kind words and support from the Saturday thread. It means a lot that there are people that care and understand what it feels like to have your spouse leave and not be ready to let go even if just for a few months. He will miss our son's 1st birthday, probably his first walking steps and the joy of breaking him from the bottle and my birthday But we will endure this. I just wanted to say thank you all

Happy Sunday everyone! I still have another week of work off. Last week just flew by. This coming week, I'm going to be doing super organization and cleaning in preperation for our move in February. I figure that I'll start now before the belly gets too big and awkward.

I've used both Royal Air and Air France. I prefer Air France, they seem to be more helpful than Royal Air.

Orbitz won't let you purchase a ticket leaving from an international airport. I purchased my husbands ticket from Expedia from Casablana to San Fran. You could also try going to the airport itself and going to the Customer Service office. We were in Kenitra and I remember seeing Royal Air and Air France offices downtown there too. Hope you find a good deal and congratulations.
