My spouse and I had our interview I-485 For adjustment of status in chicago uscis. Everything went well, we provided many documents and had everything ready by an immigration lawyer (that confirmed that the interview went smoothly). Do you guys have an idea of what will be the next step ? How long is it gonna take them to issue my green card? 

Guys I am actually going through adjustment of status in chicago which is taking so long. I am now holding my status of F-1 international student visa. My question is : Do you know if I can take one semester off, and still keep my F-1 status current ? Thanks guys

Guys my EAD case updated online to:

'On May 1, 2019, we mailed your new card for your Form I-765, Application for Employment Authorization, Receipt Number MS............... to the address you gave us. If you do not receive your card by May 16, 2019, please go to www.uscis.gov/e-requestto request that we send your new card to you. If you move, go to www.uscis.gov/addresschange to give us your new mailing address' 

but I didn't get any tracking number to track my package with usps. Does anybody know how long it takes to arrive ? And how can I get a tracking number ?

I thought I am the only one. We are in the exact same situation. My priority date is 12/28/2018 F2A with california visa center. I also applied for an EAD work authorization as well as AOS my priority date is 09/11/2018. Both priority dates are current based on the processing times in the visa bulletin. However, I haven't heard anything yet. I had an apointment with USCIS in august of 2018 to make sure that my marriage was not a fraud probably...bunch of questions but haven't heard any acceptance or RFE yet. I also need desperately to work. I call them almost every week and they put new inquiries...they say I will hear back from them within 30 days... But I never do. So disapointing. I also tried to take an apointment INFOPASS in my local USCIS office here in chicago... They said they don't take anymore. I was wondering if I can go to an indiana USCIS even if I am from chicago ? Thanks guys

Pd dec 28 2016 and I haven’t had any approval yet. Everytime I call them they tell me the same thing. They are still working on sep/nov cases. so no approvals yet 

Hi guys, does anybody know how long it takes these days to get the EAD (work permit or employment authorization document) ? I applied in sep 09 got an apointement for fingerprints oct 12. Do you know when should I expect to get the EAD by mail ?

-My pd is current for an adjustment of status, which I already filed and is ready to be sent.
-I am scheduled for an approval interview for my I-130 petition In 2 weeks
The questions are :
1)- should send the I-485 adjustment of status form now ? or should I wait after the interview date ?
2)- what are the documents that I should send with my form I-485? I mean should I send all documents that shows our bona fide marriage?

Hi guys, my PD: dec 28 2016 (I-130 petition) (spouse is a green card holder), and I haven't received any approvals from USCIS other than the receipt mail. however today I received this attached letter. I don't know if this is a pre-approval interview, or an adjustment of status interview ? Please can anyone help me understand what this letter means and what should I expect. In case this first interview is to decide weather they gonna approve the I-130 petition or not, do you know if we gonna get an answer (approved or denied) the same day or how we gonna receive the answer ? And since I live in the Us and I am current on filling application date should I file an I-765 and I-131 or just wait for the interview ?

Hey guys, can anyone help me understand the I-485 application ? And also the  I-765 ? How can I get a work permit knowing that I live in USA on a current student visa my PD is dec 28/2016( I haven’t gotten an approval or anything from uscis yet)  so I was actually through the filling application date in march 2018 but I haven’t filled anything (didn’t know I could do that and get a work permit) can anyone help me out or share his/her experience regarding the I-485/I-765 filling procedure / how long it took to do the biometrics ? How long to get a work permit ? Please  I really need help in this regard. 🙏🙏🙏

Hello everybody, I red something about a form called I-485 for spouse living in US which can be filled even before  USCIS approvals. I am actually living with my spouse, I am on student visa my PD is dec 28. Am I eligible for an I-485 application or should I wait for uscis approvals first ?
