My field office is also Lawrence and I applied August 29th but haven’t heard anything. Did your go to the national benefit center (NBC) first and then to Lawrence, MA? I put in a service request and the response was from the Lawrence office but they told me that my application is first going to be processed at the NBC.
Yeah, my case was at NBC and then on nov 13th I got notification online that my finger print was going to be reused and shortly after that I got another notification saying my interview was scheduled.
I hope your case starts moving soon!!!!

Good luck to u!

I filed aug 2016, got RFE Jan 2018, case was transferred to local office may 1st and got my letter scheduling interview 2 days later.
So that probably means u will get an interview notice.

@dlmbtltk I filed a good faith marriage waiver in November 2016 and I got approved with no interview about 13 months later. The website was updated on the case about 2 weeks after I had the green card delivered in the mail, which was about 3 weeks after the letter came. So just wait for a letter and a card in the mail. Congrats 😊
Good to know that this happened before. Congrats on your approval too!
Thanks

Hi guys, I’m a aug 2016 filer, waiver case.
Had my interview last wed at my local office and was approved on the spot.
The status online hasn’t changed since, no phone or emails notifications, when I log in to my acc still says : your file has been transferred to another office that has jurisdiction over your case.
Has anyone else experienced that?
I remember when I was approved at the interview for my conditional GC, I received the email/text notifications right away.

Finally, after 22 months my greencard is in production. Had my interview yesterday and was a great experience. The officer told us we only had an interview because I didn't have one for my AOS and that they want to do interviews for most I-751 cases now, especially for the ones who didn't have an interview before. Other than that the officer told us we had a great case and tons of evidence.
I’m a aug 2016 filer, waiver, and had my interview last wed and was approved on the spot but my status online hasn’t changed since, it still says about the file transfer. Have u ever seen that?
Congrats on your approval!!!

And this is just the i751, I didn’t apply for n400.

In my belief and this is my belief only that a supportive ex after a recent divorce seems fishy. Sure people do split on good terms all the time. But in immigration cases that can easily be seen as a friendship marriage for immigration purposes where the USC can longer keep it due to changes in their life.
The majority of divorces have atleast a no contact peroid to mourn the loss of a loved one and people usually want to move on and forget especially where no children were born.
My advice to people is once there is a divorce decree, remove the ex from the process completely, no affidavits from them and no showing up as “support”.
So I went to my interview this morning and was approved on the spot. The officer was very nice and the interview lasted aprox 10/15 min only!!!

so far, no updates online or notifications though.

Hi guys, I filed my petition aug 2016, good faith marriage waiver, received RFE end of dec 2017, had my interview to remove conditions this morning and I was approved on the spot, the interview lasted aprox 10/15 min and it was very pleasant.
The officer said I had showed and said enough and he had all the reasons to approve me.
I'm so happy!!!!!

@dlmbtltk just my two cents. I was reading on some ROC forum that multiple marriages is considered a redflag to adjudicates. When you say your last two relationships, if those were actual marriages that might be the reason you are getting an interview. So it might not be that serious they may just want to ask you questions to validate evidence.
Did you & your ex-spouse attend an initial interview prior to recieving your CR-GC? Was there anything out of the ordinary that happened in that interview?
Be ready to get super personal in those interviews.
Yes I was married twice but only filed for the GC on the sec marriage.
Yes we did go to an interview back in 2014 and it was a great one. The officer was super nice, it was literally the best experience and nothing out of the norm happened , we were approved on the spot.

Good Luck preparing for your interview. Did you file for N-400 or is it solo I-751? What is your NOA1 so I can add you in the list.

I understand your point 100%. My last two relationships ended in good terms and I am very close to both of them. Like I said he mentioned that he would come with me if I think that it would be helpful in any way, I just don’t know if I will ask him to or not.

I think it’s depends on the officer, the documents submitted, the whole history of relationships and marriage, Im not so familiar with waiver cases, but I’m pretty sure if you have everything together and your marriage was legit you will get approved.
I was under impression that you December filler, but since you filled in August 2016 id take this interview notice is a pretty amazing news! If you stressing too much about it then lawyer presence might help, even though it’s you who’s going to be replying on the questions and submitting evidences anyways. Whatever makes you feel comfortable. Let us know how it turn out for you and good luck!!!!
Right, I hear ya.
I think it’s normal to feel nervous, I never really enjoyed any kind of interviews.
But I won’t bring a lawyer with me, I prepared everything myself and I don’t think I need to spend money to pay someone to be there when I’m the one answering questions.
My ex told me while ago if I got a interview notice to let him know and if I’d like he would come with me to stay in the waiting room for support and even go into the interview room of the officer wanted that.
So im thinking if that might be something I should do or not.

Oh in this case my CONGRATULATIONS!!!! You almost there! You August 2016 filler? That’s been a really long ride for you, I’m excited! I’m sure you’ll be approved after interview.
Thanks, I'm really nervous about this cause we never know how interviews will go, in what kind of mood they will be and how willing to listen, but yeah it's been a long and stressful ride so far. Do you know if people post anywhere here about i751 waiver interviews? I'm curious to see how it was for other people that went thru the same situation.

Wow!!! Have you sent a lot of evidences in your original submission? I don’t know what to think! It’s either a random selection, or USICS phone call info that I posted above is correct, or maybe something in your case triggered it?
I'm a waiver case but I did send a lot of evidence back in aug 2016, still got RFE (pretty general list of documents they asked, most i had already sent), and now interview!!!!

Hmm, If you are receiving the letter from local office, it could be actual case transfer and they might schedule for an interview or they might just say thay they received your case at local office and review it (approve/interview). From your Screenshot, I do not see Statue of liberty so looks like it's not approval letter. Please update us..
The letter i received today was a interview thats schedule to happen in 3 weeks

in US Citizenship Case Filing and Progress Reports

So, I had my interview this morning in Lawrence-Ma, everything went well, got the 6 civics questions right, we talked about my marriage and why it didn't work (got my gc thru marriage but it didn't work and I was already divorced by the time I applied for my ROC), talked about work, concerts we have been to (lol), went thru the whole application, asked a lot of questions about it, the officer left the room a couple of times and came back saying he was recommending me for approval and then he said that he could make me become an American citizen today, if I was interested lol
I was like, yes for sure!!!
He then gave me the N-652 and told me to go back to the waiting room and wait. After about 30 minutes, a gentleman came and called 6 of us by name, took us to a room where they had everything set up for us to take the Oath, it was quick and easy. I left happy as an American citizen.
Timeline:
Aug 18th I applied online
Nov 12th got notification of biometrics reuse
Nov 12th few minutes later the notification about the interview being scheduled
Dec 22nd Interview/Oath Ceremony on the spot.
Good luck to all of you!!!
