Hey everyone,

This Friday my Fiancee finally has her k1 visa interview in Ciudad Juarez after 11 months of waiting. I plan to fly into El Paso on thursday and cross the border and she will fly into Ciudad Juarez. We have a hotel close to the consulate. My only question is, how is the safety in Juarez? I know to take precautions and not go out at night etc, I just want to know if anyone has had any experiences there and could give some advice. Thanks!

Hey guys I just have a quick question, 

My fiancee has her interview in a few weeks for her k1 visa in ciudad juarez. She has lived in mexico her whole life and has lived in three different states in mexico since she was 16. does she have to get a police certificate for every state she has lived in, or is the police certificate where she lives now enough? Thanks!

I received my RFE March 23rd, we sent in the requested information April 3rd an received our NOA2 April 16th, 2018. No need to be stressed, it won't do anything but make you more nervous. Just be patient. 

Hey everyone! 

My fiancée has her interview set for august for a k1 visa in ciudad juarez. We are gather all of the documents together and we have a few questions. It is difficult for us to know what the correct list is online so if anyone can give us that list that would be great.

We have a cosponsor because I am a full time student. I make about 5k a year on a part time job which isn't enough to have a tax return which I didn't do. I have about 50k saved in a college fund that I printed to use as evidence in the affidavit of support. Our cosponsor makes enough money to sponsor my fiancee so we are planning on using the 2016 tax return from the IRS and the 2017 letter from the IRS stating that he has till october to submit, because he asked for an extension. He doesn't get W2s because he is a part owner at a large company which means he techinally is self employed. We are using statement showing how much money he has in some banks and also investments. Is this going to be enough?

Also, I know my finacee needs to bring her original birth certificate, but can she just use a copy of mine and a copy of my passport (I am the petitioner.)
