yeah i understand that i have to write my entire name..and i am doing that but my husband keep insisting that i should not be writing it in the way i do that i should be writing it in script letters..So i told him him i do not write in script letters and i just write them normally i do like IMEE BLAHBLAH and not scrpit written..he said that its gonna be void if im going to write it the way i liked it..i dont undersatnd why do i have to change my handwritten.

I just wanna ask now that i am already approved but doesnt have the greencard in my hand yet..can i work legally now? and also my SSN is still under my single name can i use it temporarily till i have it name changed.?

hi I just got approved for my greencard. My SSN is still under my single name.What is the requiremnts in having it changed into my married name. Once i have it change are they going to replace my old number also or its still gonna be the same?

yayyyyyyyyyyy!!! i've been touched for 3 consecutive dAys now after more than 5 months of not being touched..does it mean guys that im gonna be finally having my greencard soon?

yeah i understand that having a SSN doesnt indicate that i am eligible to work..my question is, will the uscis be able to trace if im working eligally by means of my SSN(still on my single name). cos the agency i am applying is asking for my SSN and some papers to prove that my greencaed is on process. Im just worried that my application will be jeopardize if im going to accept this work.

i just got an email from uscis telling that my case is still pending.I was trying to apply for a job and they are asking for my social security number. my SSN is still under my single name because i applied for it prior to our marriage. I explaned to them that im not yet legally allowed to work and i think its fine with them as long i would be able to show my SSN and some uscis papers to prove that i am processing my greencard.In case they hire me will the uscis will find out that i am working already? if yes how can they trace it up? I guess my work wont be off the books since its an agency and they are really requiring for SSN.

guys i just got an update from CRIS today..i thought im already approved but still im unlucky..oh well atleast theres an update...

december 17 is coming and its gonna be the 6th month since my case was transfered to CSC..im getting so frustrated now..everytime i call up the uscis the caller agents tells me the same things as what my status in the uscis wesbite says..My case has no touch since june 17.who else are in the same boat with me? im really wondering if they have forgotten my case.

wow tnx for the fast reply..the child is her fiancees daughter,she was born in philippines and was regestered to US embassy thats why she got a bluepassprt(US) as what they call it their in philippines if im not mistaken.so the child doesnt need to be inluded in the AOS package anymore?

and also does she need to include her daughter when filing for AOS,she was born in the philippines ang got a bluepassport.

mine was transfered to CSC too since june 16 and no single touched untill now.grrrr!! i hope my case will be touched soon cos it makes me so worried.

my husband called up the uscis few days ago and was clarifying about the mailing address because they put our street address instead of the PO box.good thing the post office didnt send it back to the sender and just include it together with our mails in the PO box but isntead they put a red stamp on the envelope saying :this mail was delayed,others may not reach you at all unless you advice your correspondents promptly of your full correct address,includding zip code. so the person that we talk with on the phone said that we should send a letter at the CSC and tell them to make it sure they should put and send it in out PO box address not the street address.. so can someone tell me the adress of CSC? and by doing this will it make any hassle or delays with our application?

ive noticed that ur case is being touched since 07/04...how can i know if my cases is being touched? my last touched was on June 14 and after that i've never seen my case was being touched...im getting so worried now that they might have forgotten my application.

i saw the CSC timelines and it says 6 months..will the CSC process my AOS application for 6 months from the time they recieve it or what they meant of 6 months is by the time i submitted my AOS application to IL?
