You asked about Panglao since our timeline shows we have been there a bunch of times. I will divulge some good info for all the Philippines couples. The Alona Palm resort in Panglao, Bohol is one of the most beautiful, romantic spots on earth. And I have done a LOT of traveling.

I have a question about tracking the visa. I checked the Delbros site and this is what I got:

12/11/2006 2:38:45 PM SHIPMENT PROCESS IN THE EMBASSY

Does that mean that the visa has been released to Delbros?

Nope, I think that just means that your girl has paid the delbros fee and she is in their computer system. Our status says the same dated Dec 5 (day of the interview) and we are waiting "routine checks." Hopefully you will see another update on the delbros site soon.

Can someone tell me how to check the Delbros site for update......what do I put in to track.....case #, passport#?

the long wait is over.... GOD IS SOOOOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!! I RECEIVED MY K3 VISA TODAY!!! I called my husband and told him the good news!!! now we both can't wait to spend our Christmas together in New York!

yes yodrak hubby and i decided still to pursue I-130.. thanks.. coz we dont know when we are going to have our I-129f approval well we will just wait and see.. sighhhhhhhhh

I think I would continue to pursue the immigrant visa and do nothing about the I-129f petition for the time being.

hello vj members..... all of us here wanted to be with our husbands and wives as soon as possible right?... my husband filed k3 and our I-130 got approved quicker and now it is in the middle of process while our I-129f still pending.. i have two questions in my mind should we abondoned our I-129f and pursue our I-130 instead? and if we will do the I-130 after the case completed how long usually it takes in the philippine consulate to have my schedule for interview and medical? i heard they said it will take longer to have an appointment for that. Please all your comments and suggestions will be appreciated...

yodrak it is in MSC... NATIONAL BENEFITS CENTER... our case still there i guess they will not trasfer my case anymore((( just wild guess)

i would advice to contact the customer service regarding your status maybe that would help!!!

hubby already did called them but they said give them a time frame of 45 days for further action on our case. waaaaaaaaa

hi boowilson... well i was browsing thru your posts... and i would like to give you my comment on it... well my hubby and i filed for both petitions as it is required by USCIS... we filed our I-130 in Vermont and soon as we received our I-797, we filed our I-129F in Chicago... not long enough we got the approval of our I-130... was asked to pay for fees... for affidavit of support thing processing fee and so we did... even if it costs a lot... at the same time, we received an approval notice of our I-129F... you could just imagine how we pay double because of two petitions filed... but we jsut want to make sure we get have all the choices whichever comes first... and not long enough i had my interview and medical exam done... so all in all i have only waited for 10-11 months total for the K3 (not to mention that my husband was always out to sea so we were delayed for abouot 2-3 months in doing our paperworks) and now, just waiting for the visa delivery... well i do hope you get your interview soon enough for your CR1. Aaawwww im sorry but we didn't do anything or any request for expidite. They said the packet was sent friday philippine time. I just wonder how long its going to get to my fiance. She is in manila so I think it's going to get there soon.

It might be in her hands on Monday... I got the letter dated 16 Oct 2006 and it got ot my house the next day... so, looks like it'll be with her on Monday... seeing how she's only in Manila... God bless!!!

What can I do? the girl i am gonna marry two weeks from now can't assumingly provide the affidavit of support since she is on welfare although she is allowed to work 35 hours a week (not more than that) and just for our future she has willingly started working again in dunkin donuts. She used to be a manager before but couldn't continue due to illness in her feet. What will happen to me if she can't provide me with that? Can I bring a co-sponsor? or more than one?

don't worry... yeah she can have a cosponsor provided they meet the requirements as well... also, i had a friend who ddn't have her affidavit of support then... she went for an interview and they asked her to come back once she can provide the affdavit of support... and after a few weeks... she came back with it... then 5 days later, she got her visa... i don't think there's a reason for you to worry... provided that they don't deny you por anything... it's a lot better to be asked to submit addicitonal docs than to be dened rgh there and then during your interview. so keep praying and have more faith! you'll do just fine...

nice job... i also did almost the same thing... got a few pictures of us in everytime he flies over to the PI and other pics of us in other countries as well... just had about 50 pages of it, lol... i made a 2-inch thick binder for our evidence of relationship alone... i had it all together and made index tabs for them to make it organized... inclusive of 300 emails, few handwritten letters, if you have money transfer receipts include them as well... plus don't forget his phone bills... they'll ask for it. if you can get a copy of all pages of his passport, do it as well... or EMS/USPS receipts too... just be ready for the interview and pray hard! you'll do good with it... He was denied his CR-1 and they would not allow him a waiver, and put a permanent ban on him from ever coming into the USA.

I am shattered and fallen ill, he is numb. We do not know where to go or what to do...

I can not move to the UK, if I did I would have to leave my first and only 12 year old daughter, seperating her form her only younger brother and also leave my mother who is ill from a brain tumour. There are so many other factors involved to as why I can not move.

i understand how you're feeling right now, but please try to get yourself something good to eat and get enough sleep... if you get sick then things will get harder for the both of you, especially for your family and your hubby who is away from you at the moment. keep your faith strong and keep praying... God has reasons for everything... and He knows what's best for the both of you. and do what you think will be of help for the both of you... try everything and one day... one of them will work out for the both of you. just don't forget to look aftre yourself as well... i know it's hard but you have to do it... you are the only one who can truly help yourself... jsut keep your faith high... my prayers are with you...

I have a lawyer who seems basically worthless. Anyways he sent me a copy of the paperwork. It has lots of copies that cant really be seen at all. I originally sent color copies of things like passport stamps and letter to my fiance.

Is this really important to bring a copy to the interview ? Should I just find the originals and make good copies of anything that is not readable ? i also refer to my fiance as my wife in some letters. Is this a no no ? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Try to ask your lawyer if you can have the original copies of all communications he got from the USCIS/NVC... and once you have them, you can send them to your fiancee so she can be prepared with every single docs she might be needing for the interview. They don't ask for it at the Embassy, but jsut in case, you should be ready... when I had my interview last December 5, I had everything with me... copies of all pages of the passport of my hubby, docs from USCIS/NVC, eveidences of relationship includng photos, emails (man I prnted out 300 of them), money transfer receipts, letters, phone bills (your phone bills)... just bring anything that you think might be of help to extablish and prove that the relationship is genune. And no, i don;t think it's a no no f you refer to your fiancee as your wife in your letters or communicatins... it's just terms of endearment and the consul will undersntad that. hoping for the best for the both of you...

They don't ask for it at the Embassy, but jsut in case, you should be ready... when I had my interview last December 5, I had everything with me... copies of all pages of the passport of my hubby, docs from USCIS/NVC, eveidences of relationship includng photos, emails (man I prnted out 300 of them), money transfer receipts, letters, phone bills (your phone bills)... just bring anything that you think might be of help to extablish and prove that the relationship is genune. And no, i don;t think it's a no no f you refer to your fiancee as your wife in your letters or communicatins... it's just terms of endearment and the consul will undersntad that. hoping for the best for the both of you...

He was denied his CR-1 and they would not allow him a waiver, and put a permanent ban on him from ever coming into the USA.

I am shattered and fallen ill, he is numb. We do not know where to go or what to do...

I can not move to the UK, if I did I would have to leave my first and only 12 year old daughter, seperating her form her only younger brother and also leave my mother who is ill from a brain tumour. There are so many other factors involved to as why I can not move.

We are all lost, where do we go now...

if you were'nt given a 221, I'd say odds are in your favor. usually takes Embassy about

3 days to prepare the visa. delivery time varies to where being delivered in Philppines.

hi everybody! i'm just a bit curious, I just got intervewed last December 5, the interview went well and the Embassy held on to my passport then asked me to pay for courier service at Delbros. Am I already guaranteed a K3 visa issuance?

I would say they took the passport and are going to send it back to you with the visa stamped inside. Congrats

thanks! i hope it gets to me sooner though... i was informed that they normally process visas for 3 days to as long as one month... and man, i can't wait any longer... have to spend Christmas with my hubby in NY
