Why is the processing time between a permanent resident and a citizen different? According to the official site, the time for a citizen is longer, it is not logical.

1. 7.5 Months to 9.5 Months
   Permanent resident filing for a spouse or child under 21
   August 24, 2018
2. 10 Months to 13 Months
   U.S. citizen filing for a spouse, parent, or child under 21
   May 12, 2018

We got a second rfe  and we respond April 27 and we didn’t have an answer  yet.. so downhearted I don’t know why is this happening 

HE is the petitioner and is his first time applying for a k1.  We asked to the certified copies in total of 8 Dickey number but the court answered that they destroyed most of them because most of them are cases of 2004. But my fiancé don’t remember details even the cases because are offenses not felonies.

The letter says you failed provide an explanation of any and all your arrest, citations,charges,indictments, convictions, fines , or imprisionments. Submit a detailed explanation of any and all your arrests, citations, charges, indictments,convictions, fines or imprisionments including but not limited to docket numbers...... we should contact a lawyer? What they want a letter of my fiancé?

We didn’t get any notice that they received the package yet and I’ve tracked at the US post office and they got the package on March 13. Still without any update at the website. I’m worried they lost our response 😫😫or they are putting in the last place .. we applied on July 😱 so it’s been so long even our love is getting strong is a little desperate being waiting so long so far

Good afternoon my fiancé filled the i129 in 2017 July, in January 30th we received an rfe asking for evidence of the relationship and other documents that my fiancé missed. We answered last Monday and sent the whole package March 12...how long is going to take an answer from the uscis. We sent the package priority express but is not update in the website.

i need some encouragement..this process is taking so long!!!!!
