Yeah, Medical expires after 6 months. The consulate will ask for new medical once it is required for further processing. I haven't been asked yet for that particular form. My visa category is F4. What's your visa category?

Have u got ur visa? My interview was on 20 september 2017. VO approved my visa and did not give me any paper.. He kept my passport nd asked me to pick it after 4 days. But then in November i got ds5535 form in email...asking abt my social media handles n previous addresses. I sent it back to them.. And my status changed to administrative processing im november. I have not heard anything from them since then
My case is still under administrative processing. The precessing time varies on case to case basis but I guess the average time these days is around six to eight months. What about your medical? Has it expired? Mine is about to expire in few days.

Asalam o Alikum,
i have my interview three months before and i was asked to submit new joint sponsor and my CEAC status shows Refused from my interview date.
I have submitted required documents On March 2nd and got update on CEAC next week and on this friday my CEAC status changed from refused to Administrative Processing... any suggestions or idea what gonna happen next :/
Thanks
Walikum Salam, My interview was done in November 2017 and I was also asked to provide joint sponsor, however; I wrote to embassy to ask them as to whether the joint sponsor is mandatory or can I provide the latest year's tax return? They said that new year's tax transcripts would be fine. Accordingly, I submitted the transcripts by the end of February 2018. However; my case was under AP since the date of interview which has been updated many times, therefore; I would suggest you to just wait and see what happens......:)

Hello American
2 weeks ago I submitted new medical and New AOS .today embassy call that my AOS is rejected because of low income.infect income is more than double than required for sponshorship. I don't know why they reject AOS? Embassy ask me for new AOS.
Anyone else got this issuse? Or rejected his/her AOS?
Hi, When did you appear for interview? Was your case under administrative processing? When did your medical expire? Pls accept my apology for asking so many questions. As for as income is concerned, lately i guess they have changed their criteria and considering past three years income as proof of income (I am not sure, it's just my personal statement).

Did u ask embassy to review after interview or they asked for new year tax transcripts by themselves? When u saw ur case last updated at ceas? Sometimes this ap takes less time but it all vary case to case..
Yes, i asked them by myself as to whether the joint sponsor is mandatory or i can provide the coming year's tax transcripts instead of a joint sponsor? wherein i was guided by the embassy to provide the coming year's tax transcripts. My case was last updated couple of days ago. What about yourself? did you also get the white paper? if yes what was the reason or objection?

At the time of interview, i was handed over a white paper stating that I need to submit a joint sponsor, however; once i sought clarification from embassy few days after my interview regarding provision of new year tax transcripts instead of a joint sponsor, they were agreed and asked me to submit the new year tax transcripts which i submitted by the mid of February 2018. I haven noticed that my case is being updated on regular basis as it is under AP so let see what happens.....

Congratulations Umair!!! Let see what happens, still anxiously waiting.

Congratulations scarlett262004!!!!! Good to know about your hubby's spousal visa. The didn't take much time in your husband's case, however; in our case they might take more than six months as five months have already been passed and case is still under administrative processing.

Thank you very much Khallaf for your help.

Hi everybody, I had an immigrant visa interview at Islamabad US embassy in November 2017 along with my spouse and kids, since then our case is under administrative processing and it's being updated on frequent basis but don't know how much time it 'll take to finalize. I just want to ask, has anyone recently got a US immigrant visa in Pakistan? if yes, how long it took to finalize the case?
