My mother is 83 years old and currently in the U.S. on a visitor visa. I recently came across a post on Instagram by an immigration lawyer claiming that if the parent of a U.S. citizen is already in the U.S. legally, it's possible to apply for a green card through adjustment of status after 90 days of entry. Can anyone confirm if this information is accurate? Please share if anyone has a documentation for the process. Thank you.
