  1. Hi everyone,

So I applied under 3 years rules. Filed online Jun 2018, my interview was on Jul 18, 2019. Passed the civic test, officer sent a RFE, which I promptly response. Then I waited 2 months and nothing! Who can I contact, since my case is still technically "within normal processing time" per the online status tracker. Only account says estimate completion time is Dec 2020...

  2. Hi Everyone,

So I recently had the N-400 interview, passed the civic test on July 18th. File based on 3 years rule, got a RFE the same day, basically asking for bona fide documents of a marriage, which we already sent in last year when we filed I-751. Annoying, but I sent in what they requested, with new bills, insurance cards, etc for the past year. I woke up this morning with case status update, saying another RFE was mailed out today! Nothing showed up in the online account yet, so not sure what to expect. Probably have to wait a couple of days .Has anyone had this experience of being sent 2 RFEs back to back like this for N-400? Should we be worried?

You could let your husband dad and your friend write that up in a notarized affidavit.

They wanted to see evidence of mortgages or utility bills in both our names. We both don't have these. So we wrote a letter explaining our situation why we don't have it. We had a few family members writing an affidavit and they also got it notarized.

We got the exact RFE letter. I just wrote back and explain the stuffs we don't have, tried to follow their format. And say something nice at the end like we appreciate your help in adjuncating this application blah blah blah. Show some appreciate you know. I would send a lot more pictures, and also have friends and family write affidavits. We got approved about 6 weeks after we sent a response. Good luck!

  4. Good evening guys! So my husband and I filed the I-751 on feb-16-2017, Got a transfer notice (transfer from CSC to NSC on Mar-13-2018). We then got a RFE on May-23-2018, which we plan to send additional evidences in tomorrow. Do you know how long until we would hear something back? Now that the 3 years window is open, I can file for citizenship, but will it cause our I-751 to be transferred again from NSC to filed office? We are trying to apply for a mortgage loan, and the mortgage officer needs something to prove my legal residency (he doesn't want the I-551 stamp!). Debating whether we should put the mortgage process on hold until we get my green card, or should I schedule an Infopass and ask for a letter from the USCIS? Please help! If I schedule an appointment now, we can't get it until 2 weeks from now anyway. So if we hear back about 2-3 weeks about our RFE, we are thinking of just wait it out. We have been taking off work so much for the mortgage loan and searching for title companies, etc, all the fun stuffs, so probably shouldn't take any more time off.

  5. Hi everyone! I have been a long time lurker, first time poster! We filed for I-751 RCO on February 16, 2017, and my extension letter expires on May 8, 2018. Does anyone know if I have to schedule an Infopass appointment to get the stamp I-551 in the passport, even if I'm not planning to leave the US during this time? We were planning to go back to our home country this summer, but looks like with the processing time right now at CSV, February filer like us won't hear anything until July-August 2018 . Also, anyone has tips and trick for getting an Infopass appointment. The website keeps saying no appointment available! If I really do need to get the stamp, can I schedule my appointment now, or should I wait until a month or 2 weeks before my extension letter expires? I heard sometimes they won't give you the stamp if you come in to early. We live in Dallas area if that makes a difference. Thanks in advance!
