  1. @PokuPoku Do you have any updates? My parent went to apply for theirs after they got their green card. Next Monday will be 2 weeks, and I am getting anxious. I know someone live near me got theirs the third day.
  2. Hello, How long does it normally take them to mail you the Social Security number card following the EAD card? Our I-765 was approved on April 30th, and we received EAD on May 7th. To this day, we still have no SSN, and the green card was even approved on May 19th. We opted "yes" on I-765 when it asked if we wanted the SSN on questions 14 and 15. I doubt the mail got lost because I have been keeping an eye on USPS incoming notices and never saw anything, and the EAD mailed here just fine. Is this normal? What do you guys suggest we do next? Thanks in advance!
  3. Hi all! I am a citizen applying for my parents. Our interview is on 5/19, and it says: You should bring an interpreter if you are not fluent in English. It does not specify if I, the petitioner, can be the interpreter or not. Has anyone done the same interview in this location? I also have a cousin who can help, will she be counted as a family member, and can she not translate? Thanks!
  4. Ohh! I might have posted this question under the wrong category. I am a citizen, filing for my parents.
  5. Hi everyone! I am submitting the I-765 alongside with I-130 and I-485, should the filing fee for the I-765 be $520 or $260? My understanding is $260, because it says "If you filed Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, with a fee on or after April 1, 2024, and your Form I-485 is still pending", you would pay $260. I am not sure if we submittng together, does it count as "I-485 pending"? Thank you!
