Hey guys, today i had my interview at the Charlotte field office. The officer was super nice to me. She told me to relax and then proceed to the civic part of the test. I can’t remember all the questions but she asked about one territory of the U.S., how many voting members has the House of Representatives, for how many years we elect a president, how’s the father of our nation, the first thee word of the constitution. Then on a tablet that they have she told me to read a sentence “WHO CAN VOTE”. After i read that she give me the answer and told to write it on the tablet “CITIZENS CAN VOTE”.

I respond the first six questions right so she stop there and proceed with the mention above. Then she ask all the yes/no questions on the application and told me that i pass and she would recommend me. I decided to take my husband’s last name so she change it and the  she print a paper that said congratulations you pass or something like that. Now the website says that I’m on the list to take the oath and they will mail me my date.

Congratulations! I had my interview yesterday at Charlotte too! The officer who interviewed me is very nice. She speaks fast but I am able to understand her. It didn't took long maybe about 15 minutes. I passed my interview too! 😁If you applied based on 3 year rule and married to a US Citizen, bring everything for proof of bonafide marriage because in my case the officer asked me those. I am glad a am very prepared for the interview and have everything. Good luck to those who are still waiting for their interview. Just relax. 😉

    ********

I called the 1-800 number and found out that my case was transferred to Mesquite, TX.

I don't know if it's good or bad but I'll just keep waiting. Haven't file for N-400. I will wait till I get my 10 year GC first.

I also read about workload transferring cases and it states "If we transfer your case, we will send you a transfer notice. Your receipt number will not change, and the transfer will not delay the processing of your case."

    Good luck!

Good luck to everyone, not sure who has gone back and looked at previous months' threads just to get an idea of a timeline. VSC seems to be moving along well but the CSC is backed up on biometrics. I checked back to October and seems only half of them have gotten biometrics letters so far, the rest are still waiting...
