Hello Ayanle, good to hear for the change of case status, but mine is still showing 'Administrative Processing' . it is like that since i had the interview on mar 2017. it is recently updated on 19 aug but is saying the same thing. Which country did you apply from? Thanks

Do they have to wait the Supreme court's decision though? or as you quoted in your post, it is the consular officer at the embassy who is the one making the decision on whether the applicant is eligible for a waiver or not?

Hi Shukri. Am new here, just saw your post. I just wanted to say that i got the same situastion with my mom. After the interview, she recieved a letter statting the same thing you posted. Btw. She is also from Somalia. I think this has got to do with the Trump travel ban. Have you heard anything new since?

Thanks. I should just keep checking the CEAC site then if there is any update right? And what did they change to, from 'Adminstrstive processing' to what? Your case.
