Hello,
I send the package on July 19-2017 and my number WAC17291XXXXX today I went to SD field Office with an Info-pass appointment to ask them about my pending I-751. The agent said they are processing January 2017 until now and the time I should be waiting is around 6 more months. I also asked him about filling for citizenship and the response was:
You can have 3 escenarios:
1.- Your case is in SD and if your file for citizeship we will send your case to Chicago, then they will ask for your permanent residence and you did not receive it because you just have one folder which is in Chicago and we stop working on it, and they are going to denied you case sending back your papers to SD asking for a revision of your I-751. You are going to have a big delay.
2.- You file for citizenship and your condition removal are not done but the officer decide if you are with your wife on your side Enterview you for both at the same moment. Giving you both things same time.
3.- You file for citizenship and the rules change between the waiting time having more delay.
There is no warranty filling early they said.
The agent said I would wait for full removing conditions first to be sure is everything in on time.
This was my experience today during my Info-pass.

Hello Fellows,
I got sick in my last job because my former employer made me work over 14 hours per day. (I was salaried). I did as much I could but I ended up in the hospital sick for stress and anxiety. My doctor put me in disability and now I am concern about how disability could affect my green card status or even removing conditions.
If somebody could show me some guidance about, should I stop receiving this benefit? Are we able to get disability when we are sick as green card holders?
Thanks.

Yes, many people have filed for N-400 while waiting. From what I understand is the N-400 is adjudicated at your local field office (that is at a small local office such as in my case Reno and not at CSC). In your case that would be San Diego or a field office close to you. Once there, it's married with your I-751 (CSC or VSC transfers your app to them) and both are adjudicated together or within a week. There are threads about this and one of the discussions can be found here.
Hello, thanks for the information, I could see the N-400 thread and looks like USCIS is a complete chaos, Too many people disoriented asking for help and support, I really hope they improve we need that!.
Best.

edross,
you do not need the fiscal 10 year GC to apply. Yes, application window for the N-400 opens 3 months prior to the expiry of your original GC date, which should have been the year 2015.
Thanks for the information, but what happens if they take more time with ROC, eg Interview, more delay...

Yes. All dates are on my timeline. Roc was approved after I sent the N400. I had the 10 yr card in hand before N400 interview.
Hi Charmander, but I'm applying I CA, what happend if I don't get the ROC on time? These people are taking too much time.

I have done this as well. Several times however I have received an email with images of brochures or whatnot that should be delivered and guess what, I don't receive it. As it is not important, I am not worried enough to complain to the USPS.
I sign on with Informed delivery and I receive an email from USPS every day around 7 am with pics oh the letters that I gonna receive the same day never a date in the future. I think this does not make much difference in comparison with the regular service but I think is good to be sure that you are receiving all the mails and nothing is missing. When some companies eg Ebay send you a package and they pay for the service, Informed delivery go in advance with updates telling you where your package is and when you are gonna get it/them within 3 day aprox.

U know what? I check the other application number and it says that on March 5th my case was sent to the local office. I wonder what does that mean

The 'case transferred to your local office' merely means that the service Vermont and California service centers have sent notification to the local offices so that they can set up times for your bio.
Sure, I know that for most of us our bios were done long ago. But the computer system was just in late February programmed to send these notices, so it just zapped out the complete list that was in the system, including all who had already done bios.
So now the system is in place, so new filers will be getting those 'case transferred to local office' on a regular basis.
And yes I know that a few have had their 10 year green cards approved after they got the 'case transferred' notice . . . but those people would have been approved anyway at that same time, even if the computer system had not been set up to send the notices.
All the speculation here reminds me of conspiracy theories. :-)
For 99% of us . . . nothing has changed
Your answer sounds like you work with computers, could be a 0 or 1 then 1.- Massively mistaken messages without cause or effect due to a program routine or 2.- They are trying to speed up this for a reason. Illuminati conspiracy confirmed!

Hello Fellows,
Pretty soon, I think the most of the July 2017 fillers should have the chance to early apply for Citizenship in July this year. (3 years married)
Do we need to have the fiscal 10 years card first? Can we apply with the 3-month advance USCIS allows in the situation we are?
Best.

In my opinion could be:
1.- Massives Interviews for the people who receive that notice.
2.- Transferred because they are sharing the workload. But no rush.
3.- They realized the long waiting time and they are trying to make it faster.

Hello Guys,
I have been following this forum and I could see, in short, only one person from July got the 10 years green card in CA. Anyone else did receive an approval except for the lucky guy? (Congrats btw!)
