NVC is beginning to drive my Fiancee(K 1 visa) and myself crazy with all the waiting we have done and the uncertainty about how much longer it is going to take. It has been two full month already since we are stuck at the NVC, which is supposed to be an intermediary agency between the USCIS and the Consulate in Moscow, with a maximum waiting period of 4 weeks. I have called the NVC about 5 times and everytime i get "Administrative Review" for an answer, with no other help or explanation. Two month is extraordinary, especially considering that some petitioners got through the NVC in just a couple of days.

I would really like to find out any thoughts, reasons, explanations, or experiences from the people whom have waited at this stage for an unusual amount of time. What can i do besides waiting, and whether there is any other solution. It is already beginning to be a third month, a new year of waiting. I just don't understand what can be the problem at NVC and what is the limit of waiitng at NVC for a K1?

I would like to find out if anyone knows whether the Embassy can schedule the interviews out of order when the petition approval is expiring or when the applicant has waited longer at the USCIS or NVC. My fiancee has read about such cases, but i would ike to find out how it works and how often does this happen.

I was approved on Oct 27 and i am still aiting for the NVC to send the case over to Moscow. They said that it is under Admin Review. How long did it take for the people with Russian Fiancees to get through NVC?

I was approved for I-129 on Oct 27 and we are still waiting for the NVC to send over the file to Moscow. They have told me that they are doing Administrative Review and that there is no way to tell how long it will take. I would like to know if the Admin Review is done for everybody, and for those whom already went through this, how long does it usually take?

I am wondering if anyone from late October approvals knows whether their petition has been forwarded by the NVC to the Embassy. My fiancee is from Russia and we have been waiting for 5 wks at NVC. When i wrote the e-mail, they replied that "they are waiting for all the security checks to be completed by the Washington agencies". Did anyone receive this type of e-mail or does anybody know how long this can take or have any similar situations?
