We have called USCIS and they said it is approved on their system so it was most likely an error from their system!
Hoping for the best, our case hasnt made to NVC yet..

Have you heard anything back about your case? would you please tell what happened afterwards? Our case just changed status to "reopened for reconsideration" as well..

I came to Michigan to visit my fiance for the first time after we applied for K1 two weeks ago.

I was very worried even though I heard most positive interviews from people visiting after k1 and i brought my NOA1 .

I flew from Sao Paulo - Brazil to Mexico City and then Chicago, my flight arrived at 1315 so there was no line and only a couple officers working.

The officer was laughing and joking with another officer so that made me more relaxed, he was very polite but short and straight forward with his questios, there were his questions:

1 where are you going?

2 why? - my fiance

3 how did you meet?

4 what's your boyfriends name?

5 how long are you staying?

6 When was the last time you came to the USA?

7 How long did you stay?

8 what do you do in Brazil? - I'm a teacher

9 What do you teach?

He checked all the pages in my passports (I have two and have to travel with both) but didnt ask to check any document. It seems like it was a lot of questions but it didnt last longer than 4 minutes.
I was very scared because I had 2 bags of 23 kilos and 1 carry on + a personal item because I want to leave clothes here already but it went very smooth.

I didnt mention k1 because the officer didnt ask and I didnt wanna give more information than he was asking for it.
I also got a 6 months stamp.
