I am fully eligible to file for naturalization which I will be doing next week since my green card expires this June. I consulted a lawyer for this exact question but I wanted to confirm with everyone else in regards to this issue. when I was around 13 years old my parents had just divorced and my mother had a tragic accident a couple a years before the divorce so she was going through a very tough time. When ended up getting in a small argument which triggered her to call the cops on me. They came and spoke to me and took me to a juvenile center and placed me in a cubicle. About 1 hr later my mother came to the center and told the officer that she was very sorry and apologized to me and she took me home. the officers told me not to worry about anything. Now fast forward to now I have a degree with honors. I am fully employed and have an amazing entrepreneurial career, I also belong to a very high end company that is well known for its ethics and name which I had to get security clearance for as well.
My main question is do I have to disclose or mention this issue? my lawyer has told me to not disclose it. Please note that no charges or anything has ever been filed. I have a very clean record with no traffic citations either. Thank you all for your responses.
