    My approval letter

    I received my approval letter on Aug, 1st. I'm from Texas. The strange thing is

    the envolope was from VT center but inside letter adress was from Texas Center

    and the signature part was covered by a stiker with the center director name

    and signature. I check the name of that director is supposed to be from VSC.

    Called customer service and since I just got approved there computer system

    hasn't updated yet. Anyone had this situation before?

    My letter is the same as yours.VSC envelope but the address in the letter is a local office.

    I looked on the right corner of the enverlope it said "mailed from 05479" which is VSC zip code.

    don't know about local address :unsure:

    VSC approval on 7/28/2009... no touches and no email, just received a letter in today's mail! :dance:

    The theory about them approving on Mondays and Tuesdays might just be correct. I guess I will start paying closer attention on those days.

    Thanks.. but like i said.. no email or touches.. just a letter approval.. so not sure their systems are working as they ought.

    So just the letter in the mail. Wow what a great surprise that was :D

    yay!!! the theory is ture!! I got approved today MONDAY 08/03. recieved card production order email.

    I got my confirmation of change of address today. It looks pretty unofficial this one. The one I received during AOS was on typical USCIS letterhead (like NOA paper) but this was just a white sheet of paper. I filed the AR-11 on Fri and received my confirmation exactly a week later.

    did your confirmation letter from VSC? cause mine from TSC.

    my I-751 didn't get touched since biometric.

    Nothing so far.

    I emailed the senator of my states yesterday about my case and hopefully do something.

    I think if you contact them now, they will tell you to wait till it's out of 6 months time frame. So you have 3 more weeks to go. So probably in the 1st of August, you can contact your senator and talk to their Immigration Expert and they will send a info release form (or I think you can download it from their website, if they have one). Once you send it they will say they will get back to you in couple of days.

    if they don't call them again.

    I emailed them yesterday and i'm waiting now for their response .

    I emailed them early just to be ready in case I don't receive my approval in time.

    I just checked the website of my senator and i found the form . i will print it and fill it out and have it ready in case I don't receive my approval.

    I know how you feel, we both have NOA in Febuary 2009. I almost a week behind you at VSC. A lot of folks who applied after me or got NOA after me

    got approval already. I do hope we will hear some good news in couple of week as it's not been 5 months yet. I think VSC is jumping around

    like another VJ memeber told me. So let's see.

    change of address

    I changed the adress on uscis.gov and I got the letter back said

    "After reviewing our systems, we have not found evidence that you have filed ab application with us using this number. However, if you have evidence that your application or petition and fee were accepted, please submit a corrected associated number. 2312345"

    the letter was worn out (USPS put letter in new enverlope before sent me) so some parts were missing; this all I can read. how can this happended?

    I am so scare if my real green card comes; it might get lost on the way.

    they put new address on the letter ...my address has been changed yet?

    do they lost my file? what should I do?

    No biometrics appt for EAD

    I have been waiting for my biometric appoitment letter for two weeks after NOA but the letter I got was interview appointment letter. My interview date is next month but I haven't get any fingerprint yet. I went to INS office to ask them if I can have fingerprint, and they told me that it is OK to have fingerprint on interview date if I do not get any letter.

    They also told me that they can send me biometric appointment letter any time either before or after interview letter. :blink:
