I still haven't received mine either! (I received the approval emails May 3rd too).

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't gotten it yet but I would like to have it so I can send it for his interview as the Guide suggests...

My guy picks up his Packet 3 tomorrow at the Leb Embassy!

I still haven't received the NOA2 hard copy (I want to send him a copy with my paperwork since it's been recommended).

Earlier this week, I received a letter in the mail from NVC stating they had mailed it out to Leb.

I also received the approval emails on May 3rd and I still haven't received the NOA2 in the mail either.

I did receive the hard copy letter in the mail from the NVC yesterday (Sat.) stating they had sent my packet onto the Foreign Consulate!

I do hope the NOA2 gets here soon so I can send it onto my fiance for his interview!

I called NVC today too and they said they mailed off our package yesterday. Received Monday, mailed off to Leb on Wednesday. Way to go NVC! SWEEEEET!

I still haven't received my NOA2 hard copy though. I'm hoping my nosy roommate didn't snatch it up from the mail first! That 'Department of Homeland Security' envelope is bound to raise some eyebrows!

What's the significance of the NVC Case # again?? Should I call back and ask for it??

Well, when I called on May 2nd USCIS officer told me I had been approved & my file sent to NVC back on April 24th (day of my touch) but I hadn't gotten any email or online update. Then on May 3rd I got the approval emails like a lot of us did....so I am waiting to get my NOA2 in the mail to find out if my NOA2 date is officially May 3rd or April 24 (it prob is May 3rd).

But yeah I got my approval emails on May 3rd & NVC just got my file as of last nite so I bet a lot of you with May 3rd approvals got sent to NVC too. Or maybe they sent mine off April 24th like the USCIS officer told me (but I took that with a grain of salt...).

Anybody else as confused as me? LOL!

Now I heard that my guy has to give a month and a half notice before he can leave his job & prob won't give notice til he's approved for the Visa. Arghhhhhh!

MY CASE IS AT NVC!! My heart's pounding! I just called tonite (late Monday nite) and NVC said they JUST got my file!!! I asked if they knew when they would be mailing it off (yeah right) & the VERY foreign lady (I could barely understand her accent) said they'd send me a letter within 2-4 weeks letting me know (standard info I guess).

So I bet a lot of the other May 3rd Approvals got sent at the same time!! Now hopefully they'll send it on in their customary few days like they used to! GOOD LUCK ALL!

I remember it taking just a few days for them to mail it to NVC before this slow-down happened in April...hopefully things will get back to normal now!!??

You read my mind!! Count me in! Hopefully that big stack of approved NOA2's from May 3rd was/will be all shipped out at once ASAP!! I bet they don't want a HUGE stack sitting around the USCIS for weeks!!??

P.S. - I am scared of the NVC Forum...I don't know what they're talking about over there! LOL! Fees & stuff? I guess it has to do with other types of petitions....?

That's just ridiculous! They couldn't have issued you an RFE 3 months ago for this? That's all that I sent in as well for my proof...sheesh.

Thanks everybody! Looks like lots of email approvals are going out today. I got my 2 emails around 11am!

Now it's onto the NVC and then the Consulate....eeeeek!

I also finally got my 2 approval emails at the same time as TimsDaisy & ktyjp.

I guess the email is working again!

Here's hoping the rest of January filers (& those last Nov/Dec filers) get their NOA2's SOON!!

I just got my 2 approval emails just now as well...I bet we were just sitting on some supervisor's desk for the last week waiting for their final 'ok' before it was put into the computer.

Hopefully they won't be sitting on these files before sending them off to NVC like we've seen the last month!

Hmmm..I called the automated NVC: they don't have a record of my packet yet...

Thanks everybody! It FIGURES that the USCIS online/email notification would screw up for me! Sheesh.

I wasn't going to actually change the address...I was going to turn it around and just say 'oh I was just wondering if I should change it now or when I actually move in a week but I had 2 touches so..." - I was just going to play it off like I had a question about change of addy. Of course when I called the first time this morning to check status, the Cust. Svc Rep just saw the same screen that I had seen...made me feel like an idiot or something...nice to know there's a "NEXT LEVEL" where you can get some real info. It's just hard to get there...and if I hadn't been approved, then they never would've transferred me to an Officer...

I called USCIS again just now and found out I was APPROVED back on April 24th!! I posted a new topic on it. Ridiculous how the online status didn't change, nor was I sent any emails. FIGURES!!!

THe officer I spoke with didn't mention anything about pending approval though like another VJer mentioned...

Oh happy day! So I took a fellow VJ'ers lead (I'm sorry I can't remember who right now) and called USCIS back for a 2nd time today. This time I followed the prompt to 'change of address'. When I got the Cust. Serv. Rep they said that they couldn't find my Receipt # (hmmmmm), to they transfered me to an OFFICER, who told me that I was APPROVED back on April 24th (day of my first touch) and that they had mailed me out an approval notice which I should get within the week. I told him my status hadn't changed online and he said he didn't know anything about that...he was very nice though.

I also asked if my packet had been sent to NVC & he said it had on April 24th....(I will take this part with a grain of salt since that sounds pretty fast considering what's been happening lately).

TimsDaisy, etc. Call USCIS and use the change of address prompt. This apparently is best way to find out if it's been approved but status hasn't changed online yet!!

YAY! OF course, my guy has gone to sleep for the nite so I can't tell him yet! LOL.

TimsDaisy, I work with a girl that is moving to the UK to marry a British guy and her approval was finished in a week or 2.

I told my guy to just go to Mexico and make a run for the border. LOL. He'd probably end up on CNN if he got busted though. JUST KIDDING!

Ummmm yes, but I have been waiting for 119+ days....approval @ 90 days sounds like a big, wet dream to me at this point! LOL. B)

Man, I wonder if I should contact my congressman too? I think next week if I haven't heard anything or gotten something in the mail...

It does sound like there's a newbie working or maybe the supervisor has been out sick or something and that's why there are all these touches and nothing else. (Let's hope...).

I also just called USCIS. LOL. They're probably wondering who all these crazy January people are who are all calling within minutes of each other! LOL!!

Anyway, yeah she told me exactly what it says online, blah blah blah. I told her that I had gotten 'touched' last week - she was like "you got WHAT?" - LOL. She asked if it had been within 6 months of me filing yet....grrrrrrrrrrrr. I told her that I just wanted to make sure the online notification was working right....

What the heck # did you guys push to actually talk to a human being??? I wonder if I call and press the 'change of address' number I'll get better info like a previous poster got. Jeez, somebody just wake me when all of this is over.

My Beneficiary is in Lebanon. I just mentioned UK because TimsDaisy's Beneificiary is in UK & she got 2 touches last week too.

Geez jlcross, I hope you've tried to contact your Congressmen/Senators! Good luck to you. I may give UCSIS a call tomorrow for the heck of it......
