I concur!

Quiet honestly the foreign spouse does not contribute to anything. He only gives me $200/monthly. He is a lyft driver and food delivery and gets a weekly check and sends money to his mother and siblings and send $2000 back home towards a building that he is currently having newly renovated which I found out later.
-
The check was mailed last Wednesday. And he has mail that comes to the same address. Like I mentioned he did not assist me in gathering any documents unfortunately I rarely sees him working day and night to assist other family members back home. I’m doing enough with working bills business travel maintaining the home.
-
Documents were submitted last week. All bills are in my name only since I pay them all. Cars mortgage etc.

I think they also consider the age difference (are you guys of similar age?) and backgrounds - as in are you from the same country/religious background etc?
It seems to me that you did not put in any effort and are asking for validation from forum members - I don't think any of us can predict what happens.

As far as photos we are rarely together busy working and he is away from home from sun up to sun down and only sees him at night! His choice. Working many hours 7 days a week to help support mother and siblings back home.

I have two jobs and did not have time to put it all together and I did not get any full assistance from him so I submitted what I could. Moving forward!

I submitted the I-751 form. I’m not sure if I submitted enough evidence. My husband and I did not have much jointly no pictures and photos together no co-mingle bills in both names and no affidavit. Only thing I submitted was bank statement from last year and tax return only the first pages of both and last years mortgage statement. Not sure if it will be rejected or not! Advice please!

Okay thanks you broke it all disown for me. No more questions.

Is this the 1 year or 10 year green card—-the removal of conditions kind of confusing
-
Yes I heard everybody has an interview. But there are documents that are required to submit after filing the I-751 form. Is this correct?
-
-
Yes I found out the 751 form is the one that is needed to fill out and it will be extended for one year with a 17-19 month waiting time. But with his understanding he was told that while waiting he will receive his 10 year green card in the mail. So I’m not sure!
-
Is filling out the I-485 form required? I’ve not known anyone to receive a green card without an interview. That’s a first. I’m just concerned if they will interview us because of a large age difference 28 abd 42 and the fact he’s from Nigeria.

Reconciliation—not carved in stone yet.
But thanks for the reply.

Does anyone know what documents are needed to produce for adjustment of status? I like to be prepared for this early on. And wondering what is expected in these interviews. What questions will be asked and if they interview spouses individually. I try to discuss these things to my spouse and explained we have to take this thing serious. Gather financial documents etc and wants me to do everything filling out application gather documents stating on top of this I’m saying this is your life you need to be thinking ahead and get serious. He says I’m jumping to conclusions on what may be asked what rather the age difference will be questionable. A lot of financial documents we don’t share. Maybe a few and not many places we’ve gone except visit his family once and church together it’s a lot that might disqualify him in getting green card.

The key word is to PROVE that the marriage is bonafide by him.
-
To clarify he only has 2 year permanent resident green card that will expires at the end of this year. No conditional yet.

-
I don’t understand!
-
-
So what happens after his 2 year permanent residency card expires?
-
Thank you for the clarification!

No—there are no evidence to provide and I wasn’t going to make up any false documents! I did not put much long effort into it. Hope this helps!
